Here’s another nufcTV video showing the Newcastle players in training for the game at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, which has an early 12:30 pm kick-off time.
All our games for the rest of the season are important, as we try to climb the Premier League table and also advance in the FA Cup.
Our 5th round FA Cup tie at Blackburn is on Tuesday, February 27th with a 7:45pm KO time.
Almost 80% of our readers think we can win the game this coming Saturday – that would be great.
Comments welcome.
Health Update:
8th February, 2024
An update on my health situation – we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects – diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones: there are no new treatments left for me to go on.
I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and will help treat the side effects of the many treatments I have had.
It’s down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many (many) wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
đ
I will continue to write articles as long as I can.
Thanks for all your help through the years – it’s very much appreciated.
Ed Harrison

Comment #43Reports in the telegraph that a blue card is going to be introduced for refs for dissent and cymical fouls with 10 mins in the sin bin.
I used to like the idea of a sin bin but I’m not so sure now. There is just so much inconsistency from refs when dishing out yellow cards, I can see it causing real controversy when it effects a game.

Very sad news indeed. Thank you for all your contributions to this fine blog (unfortunately abused by some). I just wish I had started following it before I did. I have learned a lot about football from your excellent posts and the many good people on here.
May you and your family stay strong in this most difficult time. May all of us on here be respectful of you and this blog that youâve worked so hard to build.

Comment #54Moanster replied on previous page, didn’t realise a new page had started.
Fenham – I’ve noted on here over the years that certain posters come on here angry, ranting and raving – it always seems to happen when the socialist party are not doing well in the press. It is well reported that some are really really angry people. I do not know why that is but it is reality
They’ll be on here having a pop shortly – they’ll identify themselves without me mentioning any names. I’ll set the timer.

Comment #55Ed, I’m a big fan of yours. Big fan. Think you’re a top man, in so many respects. A role model, really, for us on here. This has been such a significant place, for so many people, but we all know it is just a little bit of you. I just imagine you to have lived a very good, long and full life, and to be loved and respected by very many people. I dip my lid to you sir. I really do.

Comment #75I really like a midfield three of Bruno, Sean and Miley. I don’t think it’s our first choice midfield. I think with everyone available that’d most likely be Bruno, Tonali and Joel, which is very strong looking indeed.
Munster raises an interesting point. Is a midfield of Bruno, Longstaff and Miley just not quick enough for this league, and a big part of why we have been so open and shipped so many goals?
I think the lack of pace can be overcome tactically, shape essentially, which we now have time to work on. But part of me wonders if he isn’t in fact right. My heart doesn’t want to accept it, I know that much, haha. I really like all three of them.
