Here’s another nufcTV video showing the Newcastle players in training for the game at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, which has an early 12:30 pm kick-off time.
All our games for the rest of the season are important, as we try to climb the Premier League table and also advance in the FA Cup.
Our 5th round FA Cup tie at Blackburn is on Tuesday, February 27th with a 7:45pm KO time.
Almost 80% of our readers think we can win the game this coming Saturday – that would be great.

Health Update:
8th February, 2024
An update on my health situation – we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects – diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones: there are no new treatments left for me to go on.
I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and will help treat the side effects of the many treatments I have had.
It’s down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many (many) wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.

I get that there’s a lack of trolls as they’re easily banned but it also stops interesting banta
But it’s so boring IMO you’ve got Jail and Dr Gloom who mix things up but it’s over run by posts from Taco Transfer Sage who bore the place
Surely you know it needs a mixture of banta football and spats to keep it alive

Comment #101Coming Home – the main issue with Discord right now is the shortage of regular posters, I’d agree with that. We do need more posters and more decent discussions. I totally understand and respect that some people have chosen to continue with Ed’s blog right up until the end so we’re certainly not pushing the point by trying to persuade people to post more on Discord.
Not sure spats are needed but definitely differing opinions are good for any blog. Do agree that when you’ve got a bunch of middle of the road people agreeing with each other, it could do with a different opinion now and again. Even though I’d also tend to believe that middle of the road is the right place to be more often than not!

Had some properly good chats involving the likes of Tuff and Betty though. Probably enjoyed those the most.
By the way, got my handicap down to 17.4 and recently shot an 84, an 82, and an 81 in NQ rounds. The 81 was off the marked course so was a proper round too. Currently in Tenerife playing a couple of courses. 🙂
I’d like to come up to Newcastle again this season for a home game. Just need to pick the game and get a few people to attend. Would definitely be good to play golf up there for the first time.

Each article is like the front page of a newspaper, the back page is football and in-between Letters to the Editor and some Marjorie Proops moments.
