Newcastle Team Announced For Nottingham Forest – Gordon Starts

Eddie Howe has just announced his team for the away game against Nottingham Forest today.

It’s a nice surprise to see Anthony Gordon start today and Dan Burn keeps his place at left-back with Livramento on the bench.

We really do need a win today if we are to finish in the top 6 this season, which is possible.

Will Newcastle Beat Notingham Forest On Saturday?

No CFs with Wilson injury. Looks like a dislocation

Bit of a stress watch that but Bruno shone like a jewel.

It must grate Tino that he isn’t getting more time.

    Brilliant player.

Good win but a scrappy game. Looks like Trips covers Bruno to move him forward but teams will notice and use space Trips leaves on right side to attack.

Why not just get a DM and push Bruno forward

Wilson needs constant crosses in box. We rarely had control of game to do that. Also inverts never cross as much. So Wilson looks poor.

Runaway i agree im just saying in his defence hes good when hes fit and match sharp. His problem is hes always coming back from injuries and he still has value so i think its possible he coukd be on his way in the summer. Last year i wouldn’t have believed id be saying that.

So despite all the injuries we are effectively in a European place at the moment and plenty to fight for for the rest of the season

I suggested last year Tripps could play DCM and it released Bruno and I think it could be a good shout and bring Tino in at RB
As good as Miley is and Longgy had a good game today I think Tino RB and Tripps in deep CM would work

    Fortuitous win I would say
But looked much more solid going three at the back and pushing Trippier into the hole

What a fantastic interview there by young Bruno, what a lovely humble lad, how anyone could class that lad as arrogant is totally beyond my comprehension.

No id keep tino RB. He’s our future RB. We need specialist DM who recognises all the dangers in that position like Kante and prime Casemiro would

Definitely need a world class DM but Tripps could do a job there and doesn’t really have the pace for RB but he is quality and we need him on the pitch

    Jail….ibhave to say I agree .
Since Pope has been injured, our defence has looked shaky .
Dubs has done well I didn’t think he would but Pope organisation of the back 4 has been a huge miss.
