Nottingham Forest 2 Newcastle United 3 – NBC Sports Video Highlights

Here are the highlights of our great 3-2 win at the City Ground this afternoon when two goals from the brilliant Bruno Guimaraes were enough to give Newcastle a narrow 3-2 victory.

It was a decent enough performance from Newcastle but once again our defense looked a little shaky.

6 goals conceded in the last two games.

We are only 5 points worse off after 24 games and we have had the worst luck than any other with injuries

Would love to see where we would of been with a fit squad

If you had been a half decent footballer and big Jack God Bless him had been aware you were a Guinness drinker, he would have definitely have picked you for Ireland mate, you could also have hooked up with that lad from Limerick and had a few pints marra 🙂 🙂

Even 8 points lost in what’s been an incredibly disjointed season is nothing major but you’d think we were in the bottom 3

That’s very true 5 points off last season and the injuries have cost us points without a doubt

We picked up points last season when we probably shouldn’t have
We’re not going backwards and I think we’ll finish 6th which would be a great achievement

Last year teams like Liverpool,Chelsea and Spurs had bad seasons and some bottom teams have improved
So taking everything into consideration I think we’re doing OK in my book

onmeedsunonmeedsun, never a truer word (s) but we are fighting for results rather than doing a gallic shrug and looking for a promised move in the Summer. These players appear as committed as we are and can see the potential. We have legends at our club who won flip all with us but we still admire and hail them. As for the ganging up and bickering, ffs, the man who had the love for the club, vision, free time and nous to start this family is in a bad way and still they try to make themselves the focus of the blog. I skip so many posts now, you know which ones that I mean, but fortunately there are still some posters more interested in the club, the region, the craic and the club. I enjoy the difference of opinions, but i despair at the look at me shouting and blatant winding up on here. Whatever! T.T.B&W ARMY!

The eejits say different when using the Liverpool comparison but that’s exactly what happened. They lost key players and struggled but finished strongly when they returned but still wasn’t enough to finish in the top 4 which was a huge loss for a club like them but we fall out of it and the eejits make it sound a lot worse but how can that be…? Agendas pal

I think the problem is last season was so good people think this season in comparison is bad
But take an average from our last 10 seasons this 1 is pretty good

Despite all the shocking injuries this year I think we are doing exceptionally well under the circumstances mate, let’s hope we don’t have the same rotton luck with injuries next season!! In my opinion even Man City couldn’t have withstood so many setbacks and injuries mate.

You, me and everyone else who sees it that way speak facts.

It’s not like we have had a few injuries here and there as we’ve had the worst record out of any side this season.

No side would cope with that many players out and that many key players out for as long as we have had. It’s really hurt us and you can see how disjointed we have been. We have rarely seen the best of ourselves but huge credit to Eddie and the team for keeping us going and keeping us in the fight regardless of some people’s short sighting.

There is a lot still to play for this season and a trophy still to go for so for me it’s always about how we finish then anything at the beginning or the middle of the season.

    Onwards and upwards matey

    Aye perspective and all that

A lot of criticism has been thrown as you know but if we had a fully fit squad where could we possibly be right now…? I believe knock out stages of the CL and a return to Wembley in the league cup…

Been a tough take but we can still finish strongly

    Bdb wasn’t “great tonight”.

Anyone who thought he had a “great game” needs to get the eyes checked

He had a poor first half and a very decent second half

But don’t let that detract you from being argumentative, what with your Little Man Syndrome and all that.
