It’s no secret that Brazilian International Bruno Guimaraes had an excellent game for us on Saturday and his brace helped us to get a hard-fought 3-2 victory at the City Ground Against Nottingham Forest.
We very rarely has anyone been at the 90% level to win our Man of the Match award and that’s the percentage he got for the Man of the Match at Forest.
It was a little bit of a surprise that Dan Burn came in second at 4% – but maybe there were some sympathy votes in there – given the criticism he has received over the last few games.
What do you think?

Wanted to check how he’s been doing his injury record isn’t too good either!! Great technical fullback not to sure his body would cope with the Premier league mind you

Comment #83Lee thats why I said I rather have Spina if we go after any injury prone LB. Spina is better technically and offensively but yeah Spina does get injured a lot. Thats where rotation comes in. Some players cant hack 3 games a week

Comment #85As I said on here just yesterday
I have a Valentine’s song which is coming your way
But I wanted to ensure that everyone knew
Of the track I intend to present to you
Remember ‘The Floaters’ and their hit, ‘Float On’?
Well there’s a tribute band from Ashing-ton
‘The Flirters’ is the name they choose to go by
And I’ve rewritten ‘Flirt On’, so give it a try
I know that it’s top of Magic’s playlist
But if it happens to be one that you’ve somehow just missed
Or perhaps you’re too young to recollect
I’ve provided a link of what to expect
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WclAFJSvyWw
So get yer groove on, and feel the vibe
And come back tomorrow to witness my scribe

Comment #86And now at the risk of starting a war
I’ll move on to the blogger who’s drawn the short straw
And become the latest in line for a little piss taking
But you’ll see in a mo that it’s of his own making….
I posted last week’s song on Discord too
And it duly received an emoji of poo
That was then followed by the sign for ‘w@nker’
And for that Mr Tuff, I’ve decided to prank yer!
There are a couple of verses to rattle your cage
Can you take a wee joke, or will it cause an outrage?
It’s been clear to us all, that quite recently
You’ve been playing the victim with more frequency
“They’re taking the piss, and I haven’t been well”
Then quoting the Bible about going to hell’
Boo hoo hoo’, you’ve often scoffed
But it seems that the Tuff guy’s gone a bit soft
You can sure dish it out, that much I can grant yer
But it seems you can no longer take any banter
It’s sad to see the head teacher and cop of the blog
Reduced to a whiner and Fenner’s lap dog
😀
Tin hat, please
😀
And a poo bag for over the road!

Comment #87Update:
Although yesterday’s ditty didn’t mention his name
Tuff’s reaction on Discord was exactly the same
There was nothing offensive, I didn’t take the piss
I think it’s a bit of a shame he’s resorted to this
He’s been acting a little curmudgeonly of late
And after this little number he’ll be fkn irate!

Comment #97just a comment regarding the ‘penalty’ Forest should have gotten:
although every one connected to the media thinks it should have been a penalty, I don’t!
The guy was already falling when Dubravka slightly touched him. The ball was already gone and he was not making a move towards the goal or to strike the ball. Can’t believe all these experts think it’s a foul. Even if he did touch him, he was already falling so the danger was gone.
Not a penalty in my opinion

True although I would rather we didn’t sign any injury prone players if we can!!
Speaking of injury prone Wilson could be out again?
For all the service and how involved our strikers are in build up play we should just play a youngster who will just run all day and chase lost causes
Gordon against Luton held the ball up well and set up attacks haven’t seen that kind of centre forward play for us in years as we usually lose it all the time

Comment #102Wilson has incredible self belief but boy does he get injured. He still thinks he should play every week but seems to forget how injury prone he is. How does he injure an arm? Just can’t be relied upon. This summer will be our last chance to sell him.

His ego wouldn’t accept 3rd choice I don’t think
But realistically that would prolong his top level career if he’s only required to play limited games
Someone like Southampton or whoever gets promoted could risk it for a guy like him to score the goals to keep them up next season

Its his pectoral muscle. It was that tussle with the forest defender right at the end when the defender was holding wilsons chest and then twisted him. Another freak/unusual injury.

Comment #107Penalty was about as 50-50 as you’re likely to see.
Another ref on another day gives it and VAR don’t overturn the decision.
Another VAR on another day tell the ref he’s made a mistake and overturn it.
That about sums it up.

I’m not the one who keeps bloody opening it. Yet if I was going to ask someone to write me a witness statement proving there was bias I would have asked them to write “although every one connected to the media thinks it should have been a penalty, I don’t”

Not everyone on here thinks it wasn’t a penalty, there are varying opinions. No different to discord. There are enough level headed posters on both sites that have given there valid reasons why they didn’t think it was a penalty.

Comment #117The whole media don’t think it was a penalty
You can cherry pick the ones that do to support ones argument but that doesn’t tell the full story
Plenty across the media said it wasn’t.
The player clearly put his foot into Dubs on the way down. He make the extra effort to go out of the way of his stride to put it there.
If it was the other way round the media would of been saying something completely different and for a fact there would be plenty of fans on here saying we got away with one there

Yeah pretty much. You go into every match now unsure of what you will or won’t get away with. What wasn’t handball last match may be given as handball today, what was deemed offside today wasn’t deemed offside last week and what is a penalty won’t be a penalty next match.
It’s a complete guess and depends on how the ref and VAR are feeling on the day.
It’s a mess.
