Burn and Botman deflections from non chances.

The gods are not with us.

Tough to keep fighting when you know they haven’t lost since 2022 there.

    And you’re 2 down.

Why dont we take shots from distance like other teams? There is always a chance of a deflection even if the shots off target.

AnyToon — It’s absolutely surreal how much bad luck the side has had this season.

I’ve never known anything like it.

No pressure on the ball on our LHS at the back – been talking about it for months.

Be trying to see if we could get Ortega from City if he fancies becoming a no 1

Sweeper keeper good on his feet with good shot stopping

Also been part of winning teams which is what we need of our next players we need top level experience

Excellent assist and Isak chance. Good save.

We need those chances to go in.

    Last post.

Best of luck, can only hope.

Bad enough to be 2 down, worse, by 2 deflections but having to stomach these 2 on commentary is just the pits

The players dont know their position thats why im not a fan of this hybrid nonsense. Should be players in their right preferred positions

    @Davas

Sometimes if you just have a shot the deflections happen

Wouldn’t be surprised if someone of the quality of Silva doesn’t know hitting if off defenders can make a goal

i reckon the old adage you make your own luck is probably closer to the mark in soccer any way…. play well and the rub of the green favours you play poorly and the luck sticks like shit to a blanket to the opposition

    Dan Burn
First goal turns his back – face up to the ball instead of sticking your leg out!!!!
Longstaff if no fit take him off doing absolutely nothing

Just wait till they end up in the conference. They’ll have even more empty seats.
Big Dan just not quick enough on his feet to close down tricky players like Silva.
Isak did well. That would have gone in for City. Unlucky but good save.
Other chances on the break. Bumping into each other. A bit frantic.
We’ve been ok but too many weak links in our team to be playing city.

Longstaff has to come off now especially after that admission that he’s not fit

Give Miley or Anderson a good with no pressure and see how they do

Get Burn off and let Hall be a wingback for once as well

It sucks ass being easily beaten but we have to keep in mind they have 50+ mil players in every position.

It would be like us having a team full of Brunos, Isaks and Gordons.

Reality hits home when we are relying on not so great players. I appreciate they are trying their best though.
