Chuffed for Eddie! Man has not been able to catch a single break this season with injuries .. yes we have questioned his choices in selection but I am sure this is the right man for our club. The players showed they will play for the shirt till the end, and for their manager. Huge shoutout to Elliott and Hall for using their youth and energy to get the team going. And Barnes for those two excellent finishes!

Fenham, I asked you for proof that I was matey with FB.

    You produced nothing.

I think we can all conclude that you were being a bit dramatic and attention seeking with that comment 🙂

Has our season swung on that second half performance?

Has our bad luck peaked today?

    Hk you did well!

Tian, I said same earlier. Eddie has deserved some criticism this season but the players and him deserve huge praise for that comeback so well done all.

Potentially the win of the season given that psg didn’t get us further

3-1 down. 4-3 up. Harvey Barnes wrapped it up. With a nicknack, paddywack, give a dog a bone. West Ham United fu##ed off home.
    Howay the lads.

@ Munster.. win of the season for sure given the circumstances, but also a contender for PL game of the season for the sheer drama? The Luton 4-4 was a bigger score but didnt have the feeling this one had.

While I hope this galvanizes the team going forward, I am 50-50 for the next game given the injuries we have suffered yet again. Although if we play like we did after the 2nd half subs, we will win. Its just we havent had the energy to play that way (“the Eddie way”) given the fatigue, injuries, and resultant lack of confidence.

What a game mate, like everyone else i thought it was over at 3-1 down, but once we drew level i really fancied us to finish the job, as all the momentum was with us, not to mention that awesome atmosphere in the stadium.

That would be good news – maybe Miggy as well.not sure what was up.with him

As Clineth says maybe that 2cnd half has made our season – it’s certainly kept us on track

Everton won’t be easy and we have to stop giving away goals on counter

Ima start posting more regular if it means ballsacks like ledge and mundy stay off here more often. Now if we could only get rid of Jsil that would be a fantastic result. Nearly as good as the result today 🙂

Whether you love him or hate him, Gordon is a handful and he must be an absolute nightmare to play against. Runs fast with ball. Quick with his feet. Knows exactly where to put his body and when/where to go down. Niggly. A really clever footballer. He is exactly the sort of player who could do something different for England. We need him in the Euro squad.
I’m watching WHU fans on social media go wild with the “But Phillips was about to kick the ball”. Yes, but he was toooo slooooow

Those penalties/free kick have been given for years now. Personally I don’t like them, as much a trip as a kicking, no intent, just a case of bad timing.

I’ll accept it today tho 😉

Yes we need good subs especially as Gordon will miss 2 games for 10 yellows

Not sure whether red card is consumed in that or will it be another ?

Probably 3 games knowing our luck

First hour we were awful could not string two passes together fell asleep for two of their goals then…..
    Anderson – game changer
Came on give us some needed bite in midfield
Got to start him and Hall bollocks to the extra money we have to play – had Kudos in his pocket who tormented the rest of our defence all game – and Barnes
Those three great combination down the left
Mom have to give it to Isaak led the line well two pens and a great assist for Barnes
Also Bruno had a good game

    Magic,

    Ref #11 last thread.

You’re a true legend of this blog and a true gentleman that’s for sure…

My family are doing very well, my boy is starting to settle in his new school after a shaky start which means so much to me (he’s a lovely soft natured boy is young Bobby). My wife has really enjoyed Newcastle, she loves the city and the people. My family really look after her (many thanks for asking).

But I must get something across here Magic mate, and that is it’s absolutely none of my business as to who you want engage with on here etc., However, I will say one thing and that is if anyone wants to engage with the troll after what it’s said on here over the years then I will question that person(s) because of the things it has said are far beyond acceptable, they’re actually disgusting and disturbing…for example, what the sick troll has said about my amazing mother, wife and child, and if I ever had the opportunity to meet this freak face to face it would only end one way and that would be a severe lesson in life for this sick fiend.

If you want to engage with this sort of sick filth (if that’s what you’re getting at?) then that’s your choice…I’ve mentioned my mother a few times to you who is a very proud Irish woman, an amazing Mam, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, who is the absolute salt of the earth. If she saw what this freak troll was commenting about her. She would be appalled and sickened and actually distressed they have been that disgusting. So again if you feel it’s ok to engage with such filthy trash because of your approach to life, then I really am surprised because of what you stand for?

Hall and Tino are the best fullbacks at the club.
Kudus was destroying our defence and Hall contained him.
Neither can get a regular start.
