Evening pal
I tell you what buddy it’s been great to see Hall looking sharp the last couple of outings. Regardless of what others have said I think Howe has managed him fantastically and we are now seeing the rewards of that. Could very well be our starting LB next season.
Loved seeing Anderson out there and also looking sharp and hungry. He also will be a huge player for us going forward. I’d even say that Anderson will be even more influential than Little Joe in the future ahead of us.

You can’t blame the medical team with the freak injuries like Tino’s but some will.
The same lot moaning about Miley and blaming Howe and the medical team even when it was done on duty ffs

Even Eddie is beginning to think bad luck is involved 🙂
“But when you look at some of the injuries we’ve had this year, and we’ve analysed and reanalysed them, then for a lot of them, you can’t put them into any category other than bad luck, even though I don’t really believe in it.”

Just noticed you`re post before i logged off there young fella. I couldn`t agree more in what you say about young Lewis Hall mate, we both have been huge fans of Hall, and remember how good he performed while at Chelsea, i wont lie Mund i`ve been very frustrated he has not featured more frequently this season, but Eddie has obviously been building him up slowly like he done with Anthony Gordon in his first season mate. Today will live long in the memory Mund, what a game, not good for the old blood pressure though mate 😀 😀
Happy Easter to you and the whole family circle Mund Lad.
Back later this evening mate

Comment #97We don’t need much, other than another CF, LB and CB. Most important thing is to try and reduce injuries. Very happy with Barnes, who I never doubted, and also Hall, who’s been a worry. Good squad, no need for the overhaul that some are calling for, but we do need Tonali, a few in, and less injuries. I think that’ll be the road map in the off season.

Agree about Bruno. Was very good today.
Would like to add that I think he had extra motivation today going up againt his best mate Paqueta. Really feel as though Bruno wanted to come out on top and his play showed.
For the penalties, i think the first one was pretty clear cut and the second more questionable. That said, this is what real pace and quickness brings. Coufal and Philips both were too slow to move the ball and Gordon’s speed put them under pressure and forced their mistakes.

Comment #107Gordon’s pens were both “professional ”
He got his leg in front of both of the West Ham players on each occasion
Annoying if he’s on the opposition but by the letter of the law both penalties
On the second as ref hadn’t given it (poor game) I was surprised he went to monitor.
I thought Moyes although maybe feeling hard done to made poor subs choices and contributed to them losing

Comment #109Antonio being subbed was a big loss for them. He was giving schar and burn fits. But think he was just coming back from injury and not at full fitness to play the whole match. But logical replacement would have been ings but moyes moved paqueta there. Didnt work so well

Perhaps Newcastle don’t want him doing wonderfully well.
Why ?
Chelsea might have an option to actually keep him.
Is that what you call a perverse incentive.

Comment #112I was one of the lucky ones to be at today’s match. Something I’ll never forget, like 4-4 against Arsenal. I hate these early ko as the radgies haven’t had enough pop to get an atmosphere going. At 3-1 players and fans had pretty much accepted our fate and it was a tough watch. But the subs lit a spark and SJP turned into a febrile atmosphere. All of a sudden belief came back and we started playing with real purpose. We caused mayhem down both flanks. Isak and longy missed sitters but they still kept going. When the 4th went in there were scenes of unbridled joy. Everyone was up going mental hugging strangers. It was exhausting being there but a privilege. We were playing West Ham’s first 11 today, with 5 first teamers missing from our 11, so it was always going to be a tough game. What we achieved today was remarkable. Just imagine what a force we can become with further investment. Everyone will want a piece of our mental football club. There is no better place to play and watch football.

Comment #113Moyes lost the tactical battle when he took Antonio off and put Phillips on to shore things up..
It’s no secret that Phillips confidence is shot from the moment he went there..
But that’s their problem..
We’ll take the 3 points and say thank you very much..
On to Everton.. HWTL..
