Newcastle Team Announced For Everton Test – Anderson, Krafth, Hall And Barnes Start

Eddie Howe has just announced the Newcastle team to play at St. James’ Park tonight against Everton – it’s a game we should win – but you never know with Newcastle.

Krafth starts at right-back, with Livramento and Trippier out, and it’s good to see Lewis Hall get a start at left-back after his excellent play against West Ham.

Hero Harvey Barnes starts up front – as expected – and let’s hope he can score more goals for us tonight.

Almost 75% of our readers think we will win this game – so if we don’t get all 3 points it will be a huge disappointment.

Dyche was interviewed yesterday and he said there’s a lot of noise about Newcastle injuries but they can still put an impressive team at the moment

He’s right the team that’s out today should be far too good for Everton they have stunk out the Premier league for too long

Let’s get an early goal and help relegate them

Extra keeper is a precaution based on the fact that Marty isn’t 100%. Schar was doing the kicks at the end of the match. Bench is wildly thin as it is, might as well take precaution and keep an extra keep.

Great to see Hall get a game.
Great to see Anderson get a game.
Feel for Willock. Longy seems undroppable regardless how he plays.
They may target Kraft but there is nobody else
There should be enough there to win

I reckon that Krafth should be fine tonight. Right Full back, his best position, and also not thrown into a hastily reshuffled defence.

I can understand Eddie putting Willock on the bench he was limping in the last game and didn’t seem 100% .

I think the problem we have is that Longstaff is probably the only experienced naturally right side midfielder available. I’d prefer not to have him in the team myself at this point.

I never realised it was double points striker week in FPL so never captained a striker which could be costly

Biggest fear tonight is having Everton kick lumps out of us. I reckon on seeing our team and the bench, Dyche will have no difficulty in putting out that order. Proper old school….

So Kraft Schar and Burn in a back 3 with hall and murphy as wingbacks? 3-5-2

or back 4 of Kraft right back, Schar and Burn central, and Hall left back? 4-3-3
