Newcastle Team Announced For Everton Test – Anderson, Krafth, Hall And Barnes Start

Eddie Howe has just announced the Newcastle team to play at St. James’ Park tonight against Everton – it’s a game we should win – but you never know with Newcastle.

Krafth starts at right-back, with Livramento and Trippier out, and it’s good to see Lewis Hall get a start at left-back after his excellent play against West Ham.

Hero Harvey Barnes starts up front – as expected – and let’s hope he can score more goals for us tonight.

Almost 75% of our readers think we will win this game – so if we don’t get all 3 points it will be a huge disappointment.

Why are we blaming Eddie? I mean Hall clearly had a knock/.. wud u rather he kept him on to get injured for longer? Eddie cannot have told Dummett to put his arm around a player’s neck.. surely any player in a PL squad knows that much? Plus we had enough good chances to put the game to bed. We had nothing on bench to freshen things up. Willock did not do anything of note.

Don’t understand why no further time was added at the end there. There were several significant delays during stoppage time.

Our midfield and is not good enough. Longstaff and Willock are just anonymous.
Bruno must be podded off doing it all on his own

Kratth Dummet and Longstaff shouldn’t have a look in this team I’m sorry, dummet Geordie or not should never be putting on a black and white shirt for this team. Krath is useless and Longstaff my god what does that bloke actually offer this team?

We needed to win this game and we have threw away 3 crucial points because of a championship players mistake. the ball was never going anywhere the goal and hes pulled on his neck FFS

Pure rubbish. The reality is the wknd papered over all the cracks. Why he never starts hall nobody knows. Why burn starts all the time. Why are all the players injured. No rotation. What will change next year nothing cause eddie doesnt change anything. Same tactics same team. No wonder isak and bruno will head off. U heard hear first we will be stuck with rubbish like ramsdale and solanke if eddie has his way. Still no sign of big joe contract. Hes prob gone too.

Hall looked like he was ill. Popping pills and holding guts. Seemed off the pace all night.

Either a half dead Leiws Hall or Paul Dimwitt, errrr, Lewis get yer boots.

Why did eddie take off Anderson and not longstaff? im sick of seeing longstaff stroll around the pitch doing nothing game in game out, he is NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Longstaff shouldn’t be playing first team football AT ALL FULL STOP.

Atmosphere in the ground was flat as a pancake for almost 90 minutes.

where was the support for the team in a crucial game like this?

was like a morgue yet again at times.

Jimiley…agree with that Longstaff has been usless for a while, and Willock has made no impact at all since he returned.
I’d put Murphy in there as well, good squad players but not goid enough to be starters .

The killer is losing a player like Bruno or Isak will kill us. We will never get to regular top 4 finishes if we keep selling our best players. But Bruno aint stolicking around for another season of no European football. He did it once cant begrudge him it at 26 going on 27 in his absolute prime.

Yet again our shitty little managers fault
He’s the one who extended dummetts contract
What a team of championship dross we have Ritchie dummett burn Murphy lascelles longstaff etc
And most of you think this overrated loser is the one who will take this club forward
You’re so deluded he’s bang average and next season he’ll balls it up again minus the European journey
The sponsors must love this idiot

west ham win there game and european football is almost out of sight. a dummet mistake may cost us European football.

Players like Bruno Tonali and Isak don’t want mid table mediocrity they want to be playing elite level football winning things.

That was the goal at the start of the season and we have failed miserably to live up to it, injurys or not this has been a backward step in every way from lasts season

Bruno will be sick of the sight of playing alongside longstaff. hes just a poor excuse of a fooballer. if he was playing next to me id be abolsutley raging because he gives the ball away time and time again and fails to have any pace or goalscoring threat.

They are clever enough to know we’re missing 12 players at least 6 starters

Put this season behind us and watch us go next season

I predict we will sell one of the two
I would rather keep Isak and take 100 million for Bruno,
All the money plus 150 million will be reinvested.
    Quarter of a billion
Perhaps then we can get rid of Dummett and Richie. Sell Longstaff and Almiron .
Hey we might have 300 million to spend.
    Go for it.

Really poor. Reminders of Liverpool when we didn’t have the cleverness or will to push for it. This is on Eddie and the players. The same turgid slow passing across the back and we brought them on to us. Whatever was said at half time didn’t motivate us.

    Poor poor poor

Thats half the problem players like ritchie dumett, murphy shud be all gone but eddie wants to be nice and keep them and then use it as an excuse. A proper manager wud hav them shipped out long go. U either be ruthless or these type of players get u the sack.

Alex Murphy was excellent pre season. Should be way ahead of Dummett who hasnt kicked a ball for four years and cannot run.

Eddie’s reliance on ‘leaders’ in the dressing room is a proper weakness. Dummett was washed four years ago. Wtf

Everton are like chewing gum sticking to your shoes, very irritating. Worst side at SJP this season and Dummett gives them a point. And reverts to constantly passing inside to his right with his left foot. Shocking. That was League One level.

Three points would have put us within 2 points of Mantown, blew that as well.

Eddie doesn’t trust youth, so he turfs Dummett on instead of Murphy and suddenly by an Easter miracle Hall has become good, but was so shiit 2 weeks ago that Eddie wud have played his wife instead of him.

We should have won. Missed some proper easy chances and basically Dummett gave them a goal. Otherwise game was over.

Buck stops with Eddie. Hopefully that spells the end for Dummett. Gotta start getting these players off the books and promoting youth.
