Newcastle Team Announced For Everton Test – Anderson, Krafth, Hall And Barnes Start

Eddie Howe has just announced the Newcastle team to play at St. James’ Park tonight against Everton – it’s a game we should win – but you never know with Newcastle.

Krafth starts at right-back, with Livramento and Trippier out, and it’s good to see Lewis Hall get a start at left-back after his excellent play against West Ham.

Hero Harvey Barnes starts up front – as expected – and let’s hope he can score more goals for us tonight.

Almost 75% of our readers think we will win this game – so if we don’t get all 3 points it will be a huge disappointment.

    Bruno
    Isak
    Gordon
    Joelinton
    Livramento

Should be only untouchables. Sell any of the others if we need money. These 5 cannot be sold this summer

Oh well that was a result I didn’t expect. However, with a depleted squad, we must have to take it in the chin and carry on. It’s been a strange old season that’s for sure, we hit the heights last season without any real injury issues, then we have this season the polar opposite, a season like no other in EPL history re the injuries we’ve had to endure. We have a team of injured players that would have give those that played tonight a good go. What team in Europe could cope with this amount of players unavailable??

I’ve been used to looking at 4:5 players out as a worry , especially if they’re players that you can bring on to change a game, all we had tonight from the bench was Willock who is also carrying a knock.

Investigations are needed to unearth why we’ve had so many injuries. Is it bad luck, is it because we had extra games in Europe without the required depth to rotate accordingly which means players being played with knocks, strains etc. that wouldn’t normally figure but because there were no other option from the bench, thid has led to an almighty knock on effect?

Keep ye chins up lads, we’re ok, look at the bigger picture…we have money to spend and 11 top players to come back to the fold. Tonight was just one of those games where you needed that second goal to kill the game off and unfortunately it just didn’t happen. Too many missed chances, and VERY fins margins that didn’t fall our way which is football (you MUST take your chances) but we’re NEWCASTLE UNITED FC and we will come back next season like we’ve never experienced before IMO. I’m absolutely convinced this will happen and this season will make their mentality stronger to cope better and win, they will be hellbent to win something. Eddie is the man and he will turn this around and steer us towards the promised land which with better luck could and should have been this season. The players love the man and fully understand more than any of us what’s happened this season and will be right up for it. They know it.

Bruno is integral to us building and maintaining a top 6 side
We must do everything to keep him Isak and Gordon otherwise we become a wannabe club

We must keep Bruno he is our heart

If the club sells Isak or Bruno it’s because they think they can invest the money and improve the team. They won’t sell either and spend it in the casino as used to be the case.
I have no problem with the manager selling whoever he wants if he thinks he can mprove things

At the end of day the club has valued Bruno at 100 million.
If a club offers 100 million Bruno has a decision to make.
If that club is City or Madrid he is gone.
Top player and one of the top clubs will want him. Get used to the idea there is a decent chance he will be off in summer

Fair enough but I just can’t see how Eddie or anyone at the club wanting to sell our stars
It just doesn’t make sense on any level
And I’ll put my head on the block and say none of them will be sold at any cost

I think selling players is the way forward, like it is for every single team in the world.

But agree, Isak, Bruno and Gordon should be untouchable. Anyone else is fair game for the right price to move us forward.

    Actually forgot about Joelinton.

Out of all of them I think he’s the safest. I can’t see anyone paying silly money for him, which is what I think it would take to prize him away.

We’re not a selling club anymore, we are actively looking to become one of the major buyers in football once we get our ducks in a row and to do that we do not sell our best players as that’s not taking steps forward, it’s steps back…

We sell fringe players and we keep the money coming in by savvy business decisions to get in line with the pathetic FFP rules by fair financial sustainability. Ahem Howay just f*** them and take the pi$$ 😉

We still need to learn how to beg, steal or borrow a win, not a draw , a win.
That’s what the top teams do either by playing aggressive football, fouling the other side to the point of rendering them ineffective or cheating.

    Street wise we are not.
Dummett should be sidelined, tonight he was plain stupid beyond belief. That was Steve Bruce like play.

No wonder the fans are pissed off. Injuries or not that game was there to be won and we didn’t.

Yep, no selling of the family silver otherwise we are back to square one.
Have to build on the core and add depth and quality to be a top 4 contender.

Many talk of the need for a new medical team.
Maybe we need some new and different coaches to assist Eddie, maybe some European influence. Tindall, Jones and others might need a shake out.

These lot DO NOT stand for or really represent Ireland and must never be directly associated with the emerald isle, as people may look and think is this the standard of folk which Ireland develops…

No, no, no does it f*** as Ireland is full and I mean full and rammed with your Ledges and Magic’s. Munster, IrishTroll and its foolish alts are no reflection of this great nation and people no way, they’re just simple minded frauds, charlatans and plain and simple freaks, and not forgetting pure inbred mugs where they feel trolling a blog 24/7 is normal practice and fair game. They are all suspects of some sort and need investigating 100%/ – Let’s give them enough rope.

Your Tindall, your Jones et al got us to 4th place last season. That cannot be forgotten, you’re a very very football savvy posters on here, and one of the very best and up there with Bills, ledge, Mund, Adamn, Ruddy, TMQ……………..lesh and Munster.

Let’s keep the faith with what done unbelievably well for us last season. We were all head over heels happy with what they accomplished last season. Let’s give them next season to get back to what they were. I think they will and will excel, but if course when it does this message will be forgotten. Unless WorB or Adamn can dig this out the archive’s when required . 😉

@ ctt — I think Eddie would have brought A Murphy on for Dummett if the score was 2-0 instead of 1-0. I think as a maneger, you’re trying to shut up shop with 10 mins to go against a route 1 team.. you have to go with the experience of Dummy over A Murphy wouldn’t you? It’s just another tragedy that that incident happened and the pen went against us.

Really really disappointed, played well first half, should have scored at least another goal.
With all the players missing, new it would be hard to win, especially as Everyone scrapping against relegation.
Couldn’t watch the last fifteen minutes, when CL came on, he always scores against us. I could scream.
    Dummet, WHY??????
It’s a point, on to the next match. Thought BDB played well, LH Did well, but looked very young. Looked as though he hurt his ribs too.
Bruno doing the job of three.
Roll on the end of the season, hope we get a few great players.

You don’t sell your Crown Jewels?
Well you do if the price is right.
The club values Bruno at 100 million. Only the very elite can afford that. If a top European team offers it, he will be sold.
He is playing well in a bang average midfield. He is putting himself in the shop window.
City sold Gundogan and Mahrez. They would be Crown Jewels? Certainly for us.
I can live with Bruno going. What I cannot fathom for a club trying to revolutionise itself is why are we giving contract extensions to Kraft and Dummett. Why is Richie still here?
They should be going not staying.

What she got to say for himself then?
You do not play footy in the dressing room.
The manager is the leader in the dressing room and the captain and maybe the star player eg Bruno. Not the worst player in the squad who should be playing in div1. Why would anybody listen to him?
