Poll – Who Was Newcastle’s Best Player Against Everton?

Let us know who you think Newcastle’s player last night against Everton at home.

It was a really disappointing result and means Everton have taken 4 points of Newcastle this season.

🙁

Next up is a game at Fulham on Saturday and we again need to win that game – if we are to challenge for a European place next season.

No doubt your Dad will be delighted to see you mate, i hope everything goes well with the scans, and they manage to get more fluid off his lungs.

    On the disallowed goal.
    It’s Isak given off side.
Looked at it on u tube several times.
Still not convinced about it to be honest.
Don’t trust the process, the line drawing, when do they freeze the image.
    The finest of margins.
All I would say is they don’t have they can be that accurate.

I agree if it was Isaak I didn’t think he was offside yes his arm was in front but no part of the body head legs was in front of the defender with white boots at the top of the image

No one mentioning the penalty kick.. should Dubravka have saved it? Weak hands again. Must have weakened after daily tickling of fatty fenners bellies 😀

It’s gone now, but I thought Isak could have been onside. You can’t score with your hands and the defender at right back looked nearer the goal! C’est la vie.

I still cant understand why you need to put your arm around an opponents neck. Dummet should have his contract ended now

For ye music buffs good concert on at the Playhouse in Whitley Bay on 30th May. I’ve just booked up for me and the missus.
It is “The Zombies” featuring Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone.
Cost £85 notes for the two of us.

That offsides and disallowed goal was indeed the turning point of the game. When you have to go frame by frame and then still it looks on by some angles and body parts you ruin the game and the flow. If the flag was raised to begin with there are no expectations or let downs. But the emotions of celebrating and waiting just to see a line drawn one inch either way can be and was a juge shift in the mental game.
Glad though to see Isak upbeat and behind his stay here. I think either way Bruno gives it at least one more year. He knows the situation we had this yeat, he loves the attention he gets, and is determined to give at least another year if he knows there will be significant incomimgs this summer.

Wish i could get up there – Odyssey and Oracle still one of my all time favourite albums

They had split before their record company chose to promote album – if it had of been might have different story as is now a bit of a cult classic

Colin Blunstone made some good solo albums and Rod Argent hasd some success in 70’s wth Argent

I have a recent DVD of them performing said album live and they are still very good

    Enjoy

See Spurs have lost 200 and odd million over the last 3 yrs.
No danger of a charge as they can reduce this by 72 million re annual depreciation charge that relates to their new stadium.

Few accountants on the blog at times.
    How does that work.

“He’s given 24 years of his life to this club”
“24 years he’s been there as a player before supporting them before that.”

i feel sorry for Dummett giving away the penalty like that.

    That was never a pen.
    A bit of argy bargy.
That Toffee diver stopped Dummett clearing it to the halfway line where Isak would have been clear.
You could argue he stopped a goal scoring opportunity and the toffee should have been sent off.
It all depends on your allegiances.

Magscar – yes a very good band still on the go after 60 years. Just watching a video of them (recent Youtube on the telly) and Colin Blunstone has still got his voice -totally – incredible some of the high notes he reaches.
Rod Argent playing an electronic organ – so fast you wonder how he does it.

Thanks mate, but got worst news possible this afternoon. No new scans just using ones from last hospital but said its back and body covered. Has his oesophagus out 2 years ago because of cancer and told in October all clear with full tests. Had blood test in January and again all clear. But now saying lungs, kidney, bones and think somewhere else. Cant understand how spread so fast when all clear in October. He asked how long, said dont like to predict but think just matter of weeks. Just cant get over it and so shaken up. He is no doubt just putting brave face on, but seems fine and said was expecting. Just more worried me and my Mam and making sure we look after ourselves.
But thanks for asking, same to Raj, Hibbit and Munster

A body watched the Brentford v Brighton game.

Ref Andy Madeley sent to monitor fur argy bargy in the penalty area but doesn’t give the penalty

If VAR thought it was a penalty then it should be awarded , oh you mean like last night’s game ?

Or is it respect to the ref for saying to VAR feck off I got it right first time

Why don’t they change the offside rule to one whereby the attacker is offside when they are clearly behind the last defenders by the majority of their body.
That’s how you played it as kids, stand behind the defence and your’re offside
Must be easier than the current farce of drawing lines.

Dubravka shud be released in the summer. The amount of times he dithered or just was glued to his line last night was terrible.

    Villa love a collapse mind.

We finish above em next year.

Said it before, hope we dont get Thursday football and give Eddie a clear shot at top 3 or better next year with a full squad.
