Newcastle Interested In Signing Juventus Defender This Summer

Sports Witness are reporting  that Newcastle United want to sign Juventus’ 19-year-old 6ft 5ins Dean Huijsen in the summer transfer window.

The central defender is currently on loan at AS Roma for the season, and he has played for all the Spanish Youth sides through U21.

The news is that Eddie Howe’s side are ‘pressing’ to sign Dean Huijsen, as Newcastle need at least one center-back signed this summer to fill in for Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles, who are out with ACL knee injuries until the end of the year.

Borussia Dortmund are also reported to be keen on the  19-year-old Spain U21 international.

The transfer fee for Huijsen is reported to be around €30m – £25.6M and if Newcastle do sign him, they are looking to the future with a potentially great defender in the making.

He has played 14 times with 2 goals for Roma on loan this season and he has played 45 first-team games in total – so he’s right at the start of his career.

These are the types of young talented players Newcastle should be looking at and it says how well our club is being run by the new owners.

What do you think?

Looking at the way Spurs have played in their last few games, it wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t win another game before the end of the season. Not saying we will win all of ours, but starnger things have happened. 🙂

Gossip is for an individual to believe what they want…

Talking like you know it’s a fact that there was a power struggle at the club is fine if you can back it up with more than what’s written in an article

Transfer Market reckon he is two footed. I reckon he is worth a punt. I reckon he would cost less than £25m.

Davas, I think we only need to worry about Chelsea. They have got their act together.
We may need 7 points for 6th.

Davas it’s Chelsea we have to watch. A few of us have been giggling at them this year but they are rocketing now. We need to keep winning. Losing out to them would be disgusting. There is no way Man U are going to beat us.

It looks like Chelsea have got there act together as they’ve won 2 home games on the trot, and maybe they have. But they were against 2 poor teams at the moment and their form away from home isn’t great recently so it’s going to be an interesting run in.

I’m getting who’s on who’s side mixed up on the blog. Please recap once in a while 🙂

Anyway, next game. We’ve scored 13 games in our last 4 games and that includes wor getting spanked by Crystal Palace.

So, will we score? You betcha.

Now, Brighton, what a strange season they’re having. City putting 4 past them, ok. But Bournemouth 3?!

I watched the second half Vs Villa, a supposedly CL team. They limited Villa to one lame shot, had a goal cancelled by a toenail and deservedly collected all three points.

    Go figure.

Will they score against us? Yep.

    Who’s going to win then?

The one that scores the most goals 🙂

Say we manage to get 5 points from our last 3 games.
Chelsea would then need to win their last 3 games to finish above us and I don’t think they will do that.
Hopefully Crystal Palace turn up tonight.
I don’t see Manc Reds winning any of their last 3 games.
