Some Of Eddie Howe’s Press Conference Comments For Home Game Against Brighton Tomorrow

Here are some of Eddie Howe’s comments today in his press conference, and because it’s the final home game of the season against Brighton tomorrow afternoon (3:00pm KO) he has taken the opportunity to thank Newcastle fans for their support at St. James’ Park.

We are competing for something; we are in the mix. We have three games in a massive week for us, it will go down to the wire. We back ourselves, we are in a good place.”

“We have loved playing at home this season, I have been really pleased with how we have performed at home.”

“We have a good feel, good energy and have been very aggressive in our play. We are thankful for the support we have received from the fans.”

“The crowd have embraced our style. It’s been a good partnership between the crowd and the players.”

“Kieran is getting closer; he has trained this week. It was the first time with the group.”

“He trained well, it has been a good week for him. I will make a decision today whether he will be involved tomorrow.”

I would be surprised if Trippier starts tomorrow, but he may come on in the second half to set him up for the crucial final 2 games of the season at Manchester United And Brentford.

    Cue or Queue?

Depends which guide you’d prefer – which word depends on the context – see below

‘Each word has additional meanings: cue can also refer to a stick used to play pool or billiards, and queue can refer to a braid of hair that hangs down the back of the head.

For the more commonly-encountered meanings, try to remember to USE CUE when referring to hints, suggestions, and information, and to USE QUEUE when referring to things that organize into lines.

Queue might well be appropriate, yes?

Me, a manikin? No way and don’t forget to turn up with your very own manikin’s ticket you’ve said you’ve got him. He’s worked hard for it and you can’t let him down.

No matter, enjoy tomorrow and let’s hope your forecasted results right for once.

Mentioning the cost of motoring reminded me of a little problem with the car and a supermarket car-park. Did you ever sort that one out?

According to Foot Mercato, Eddie Howe has spoke directly to Tosin Adarabioyo in an attempt to sign the in demand centre back on a free transfer.

The article states that Newcastle believe they’re frontrunners to sign him and in Adarabioyo’s mind Newcastle are very well placed, ahead of Chelsea and Tottenham

Good for you and whilst managing a car-park does incur costs, I don’t think it’s right that the subcontractor/ car-park manager should screw the likes of you who’ve over-stayed for a short while. There’s always room for discretion and I suspect the park owner, the supermarket wouldn’t be keen at the prospect of some negative press. As you said and did, appealing the way to go.

Just how the feck does Magic keep going all day.
2 pints is my limit these days, beta blockers etc.
Would be funny if Magic missed the match tomorrow. Might strike lucky in Sgt Peppers and be taken off somewhere in Jesmond to be chained to a bed!
All will be revealed no doubt tomorrow in Shearers.
    Looking forward to it.
