Manchester United Lose – Things Looking Better For Newcastle

Arsenal managed to keep up their title challenge this afternoon with a narrow 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford and they did Newcastle a favor today.

It means that Manchester United remain 3 points behind Newcastle with a worse goal difference.

Premier League Table 2023-2024

PositionTeamPlayedWonLostDrawnGDPoints
5Tottenham38201261366
6Chelsea38181191463
7Newcastle38181462360
8Man United3818146-160
9West Ham38141310-1452

That means even if we lose at Old Trafford on Wednesday night we will still be above the Old Trafford side on goal difference.

The real threat now is Chelsea who have found some good form recently.

Manchester United play Newcastle at home on Wednesday night then Brighton away next Sunday.

Chelsea play at Brighton on Wednesday night and then at home to Bournemouth next Sunday.

Newcastle play Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday and then we are way at Brentford next Sunday.

So there you have it – it will be important that we don’t lose at Old Trafford, but two wins will clinch 6th place and European Football for Newcastle next season.

Howay the Lads!!

You couldn’t make this stuff up if you tried. So yet again we have chelsea at it yet again in a clear move to cook the books as they say which is to avoid FFP problems!…The EPL are losing more and more respect by the day. They’re are heading to having zero credibility in the process.

First it was where chelsea sold a hotel which they owned to themselves and have now sold their bloody training ground also to…………………………..THEMSELVES!!!!

If NUFC had done anything even remotely similar than this, then there would have been an undoubted severe penalty or reaction. There would be hell on, all the media would be all over it like a rash and you just know for a fact the EPL would have invented some rule to block it immediately.

To me it’s now blatantly obvious that it seems like it’s one rule for your Man C and chelsea’s of the world and then a totally much different rule book for anyone else…Disgusting the landscape we find ourselves in through the EPL’s double standards policing of their rule book and not fair at all on all the other EPL clubs who’re doing their absolute best to not fall foul of FFP/PSR and trying to do right by these rules that let’s face it are only in play to halt and stifle clubs such as NUFC and Villa for example to rise and get on a level playing field.

When will all this clear as day FFP/PSR BS be brought under control and have a transparent EPL where all clubs are treated exactly the same. It’s corruption and there is no sign it is stopping anytime soon which is such a shame for the EPL and football in general. Where there is money there is corruption unfortunately!!!

Unlike you, I’m sure, most posters have a mind of their own and as in the case of Fat B*, some use them I’m strange ways.

Pay attention, Fenham’s pulling at your strings.

You might have noticed how he’s been telling us all how great it was to meet so many posters on Saturday. But did you notice how many of them came back to say it was nice to meet him? Take your time counting
