Who Was Newcastle’s Best Player Against Brighton?

A 1-1 draw was not the result Newcastle wanted yesterday against Brighton, but that’s what happened in the final home game of what has been a tough season for Newcastle.

It was also a bit worrying that Gauimaraes looked so sad and dejected at the end of the game since he wants to play in Europe every season and he has high ambitions.

We hope there’s nothing more in it than that with Bruno, but if Newcastle don’t qualify for Europe next season, which is a possibility, Newcastle must show their ambitions and strengthen the squad this summer, and keep all our good players like Guimaraes and Isak.

Assume Newcastle can beat Manchester United away on Wednesday night and Brentford away in the final game of the season next Sunday afternoon.

In that case, we will finish in 6th place in the league for certain, which would be exemplary given all the injuries we have had this season.

Kinda like to see Man utd hammered today but I don’t want arsenal to win the league. Our needs come first so a man utd hammering following their CP mauling would be ‘good’ for their morale.

Swablr of course it was you, I wish we could have had a chat, I would like to have had a chat about the music, and of course my hubbies guitar playing, I was thinking it might have been you, yes you mentioned the Nightshift, how good it was, it would have been great if ROM and REGAN had been there too.
Next time we’ll have a chat.

I must say the view from LOCH seats were great, quite near to the pitch. So could see how good the players were,
Gordon bloody fast, and so was Krafth.
The two who impressed me were, Livramento and HALL who was my man of the match, how bloody good was he.

Aye what a great day for the Heed, I did find it amusing reading a report that said how disappointing it was for Solihull to lose a second final, ie the play off for the promotion to the EFL as well.

A small amount of Karmic justice in my opinion!

I find it a tad surprising that AG isn’t getting most votes for MOTM,

Hall and Anderson were very good but Gordon was the one who looked most likely to win us the game.

Just to be clear and balanced, as they say, It was like a f..king morgue on here during the match.
There were 3 posters mainly posting it was brutal .
The usual dribble from them they got all excited because they taught we were going to lose .
Ed should of shut the site down an all time low on the blog .lol

I must say the atmosphere was electric at the start, just before the players came out and during the start. I then thought it became a little quiet. Not the normal atmosphere I have witnessed.

There were also quite a few empty seats dotted about again. At least 15/20 in my area.

Doesn’t really stack up the club saying they are at capacity for season tickets.

    ToF,

    #20 long time no whinge…

It’s 2 goals in 2 games now for Sean Longstaff who is one of our own. He is in hot scoring form with 8 goals and 2 assists this season in 44 appearances and has been ever present in the team this season so unbelievable reliable.

I said the other day that Krafth was ni slouch so it’s good to see Carltoon confirm that he’s quick. With him, Tino and Lewis it can’t be called a sluggish defence. I’ve also thought Krafth has done well since he came in at CB

Without going back and looking as that will be 30mins or so of my life I’ll not get back… Its pretty obvious who was spouting crap during the game. It’s weird as I pick up that they kind of will us to get beat so they can be bitter and pick out all the negatives yet totally ignoring all the positives. Really weird and strange behaviour.

Then we have munter making up lies about what another poster had apparently said about me earlier…Being such Billy bullshizer liar really isn’t a good look.

Irishknob never mentioned u or anyone in particular it was only your stalker and then, funny enough, your other stalker showed up, made one comment about ye, and disappeared.
Not a mention of the ongoing match out of him.
    Some right weird sh1t .

Jane, he’s an emotional guy, I had a tear when we scored, and could of cried when we could only draw. You can’t help having feelings.
Look at him and his beautiful family and amazingly happy being a NUFC player.
“In saying that hope he doesn’t leave.”
