It’s a massive fixture at Old Trafford tomorrow night and if we can win it – it could mean we have European football next season, but our away form sometimes leaves a lot to be desired this season.

This is some of what Eddie Howe said in his press conference today:

“It is a massive fixture, we are coming to the end of the season, we are desperate to do well in the game, we will do everything we can to try and win.”
“We back the players to give a performance. We don’t underestimate Manchester United; we know how tough it will be.”
“We are under no illusions of the magnitude of this game. It is a time to enjoy the situation we are in.”

And about the terrific 3-0 win at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup on November 1st:

“It was a moment where we were beginning to experience some injuries, it was a real team effort, a real team performance.”
“That game has no relevance to this one, it is a new challenge and I back the players.”
“The players will embrace the pressure and be ready for the game.”

We are currently 6th top and if we can win tomorrow we will be above Manchester United in the Premier League for the first time ever.

Heard the old home sick thing many times.
Kinda think it is an excuse for other things.
If you miss your Mam take her with you and put her up round the corner !
Like I say money no object.
Take your Sister and your Granny too if they want.
Also, you get 3 months off in the summer. Not like a real job.

8th February, 2024

An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.

And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.

There are no treatments left for me to go on.

I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.

It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.

I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
