I guess they’d have to considering it must be Monday morning there and the games on Wednesday, that’s not much time for recovery. I guess it’s just a friendly though.

    “Jane….you said Joelinton was a liability….

    Can you expand on this??”

he tried to pull the Brentford players shirt but missed so tried and tried again. at least Bruno and Gordon have learnt to control themselves now and are better players for it. Joelinton needs a good talking to and Burn doesn’t seem to learn.

The code to join the H2H was was posted on the “I’m in” thread prior to the season starting.

I posted countless reminders using your name for many days for you to use the code and join.

I guess we are back to waiting for news of the Blog’s future from Dr. Ed.

Whatever he decides it has been an absolute pleasure, well most of the time, and he deserves nothing but praise for his efforts over the years.

It’s best summed up by the recent words of the Bard:

” So thanks again, my esteemed friend
I wish you peace and comfort ’til the very end ”

    Howay the Harrisons.

    The squad for Australia

Head coach Howe has named a 29-man squad for the two games:

    Goalkeepers
Mark Gillespie, Aidan Harris, Nick Pope

    Defenders
Harrison Ashby, Dan Burn, Dylan Charlton, Paul Dummett, Lewis Hall, Emil Krafth, Alex Murphy, Ciaran Thompson, Kieran Trippier

    Midfielders
Elliot Anderson, Lucas De Bolle, Bruno Guimarães, Travis Hernes, Joelinton, Jacob Murphy, Matt Ritchie, Ellis Stanton, Jay Turner-Cooke, Joe White

    Forwards
Miguel Almirón, Harvey Barnes, Amadou Diallo, Alexander Isak, Garang Kuol, Ben Parkinson, Callum Wilson

Shame not to see Yankuba Minteh. Involved.

As Eddie says, today summed up part of our performances this season – plenty of goals, but conceding too many at times.
I will be watching highlights shortly. Hopefully, it will show Hall handling Mbueno and attacking as well. Did he allay your fears, Munster?

I see Eddie Howe has said he’s very positive about next year, which you’d expect, but also is very justified, when you consider how good Barnes, Tonali, Livramento and Hall collectively are capable of being for us, but simply haven’t this term, for one reason or another, plus of course we surely will get another 3 or 4 good additions this window. I’m looking forward to next season already. Good break, good pre season, and lift off.

What a fantastic win, hopefully it’s set us up to taste European competition again, with the added bonus that it’s also come at the expense of Man U.
Two away wins on the bounce, so hopefully a corner turned.
Oh, and we got to say good bye and good riddance to Klopp too.
    I’ve definitely had worse Sundays…

Cheers Rom….I was worried with a few of mine not playing today but moving my Capt over to Foden and that a couplle of my subs did well helped for sure. Still not enough to get me past mid table again or crack the top 50.

We scored 85 goals yet not one of them nominated for goal of the season, the Murphy thunderbolt should have been included at least.

    Typical!

in my opinion we must sign olise from palace, he is a fantastic player playing for a poor side and would relish moving to Newcastle, Olise is 10x the player Murphy or Almiron is and would be a huge upgrade and add so much to the team.

Gordon Isak and Olise would be a very useful front 3.

about 50-60 million would take a huge dent out of our budget but we could sell almiron and some more deadwood recoup some of the cost.

Massive statement of intent to buy one of the most in form and impressive players this season.

A season of freak injuries, bad luck and bad calls or no calls by officials / VAR. And with all of that adversity, NUFC still finished above ManU! Oh man that feels good!

And we may also end up playing in Europe next year, if Pep’s squad is not too hungover to show up and beat their crosstown rivals one more time! Come on Pep, do it for Bobby’s people!
