They need to unwind, see their families, play with the kids. And recover from injuries. And refuel.

Comment #212Although too much travelling messes things up. With our injury issue if i was manager i wouldnt have allowed any oversea travel. Just pure rest and full pre season at benton. Travelling could be an issue, altitude, sat still on planes etc. Just a guess. Plus get rid of these internationals throughout season. Only do it end of season like they do tournaments and with that you can shorten season slightly

Totally agree there are so many better options out there for NUFC. It just goes to show the difference with our and Villa’s strategy as to who we are interested in signing and the reasoning behind it. It’s why Villa will fall by the wayside in the long run. How we’re going about our business is very important to how we’re going to achieve the results we all desperately want to see, absolutely no risks to be taken only very well thought out plans and signings that will carry us forward for a very bright future.
