I had predicted our results, and Manchester’s. Still, Bournemouth never read the script.

    Anyway, overall, an enjoyable season.

One to he proud of? Sure. Most goals ever scored and many great results. And performances.

Definitely a season of ups and downs and a pretty fitting result in the standing…so close yet a bit too far. 3 points here and there really do make the difference no matter where in the season you are.

Having an injury hit season and it was only a handful of games that cost us. We should have beaten luton twice with half 1st team and half u21s ffs

I’m sure apart from the red side of Manchester that the rest of the country want Man City to beat Man U.
Everyone hates Man U!! Even Man U fans!

That was Dummett’s swansong at the end there. So we’ll have either LLoyd Kelly or Tosin Adarabioyo to replace him (or both), if the rumours are to be believed, which will be an improvement.
Margins for success are tiny, but I am a bit gutted that we didn’t geta Europa League spot in the end. Conference League can be a poisoned chalice with lots of disruption for little revenue.
Lots to look forward to next season. Hall has really proven himself in the last 5 or so games. Tonali to be added to midfield, and other transfer business to be done. We’ll be pushing for Champions League again next season.

Fair to say that we’ve arrived back after the top table.
Frustrating that Chelsea fixtures were confusing to them taking all 15 points in their last 5 games. Learning curve is that by hell or high water get ahead earlier in the season in the top 4 so no beggar can catch you.

Some memorable times and results at SJP after years is crap under the previous regime.

We denied Arsenal the title and finish above manh who will earn less money for Ashcroft’s compo. Ratcliffe will have to use his savings bank for that.

Talk of Gordon being a target for Liverpool is the latest pile of shite.
Only Arsenal, City and maybe Spurs and ourselves are of interest to European players ready for the Premier League.

Highlight of the season..going to the Brighton game with Carltoon. An honour .

Finished on top of Manchester for the very first time.

    Thrashed Paris

    0-8

Hundreds of goals scored, four a routine occurrence.

70 points. How many times we done that?

    20+ goals by a player.

    Was this a good season?

    Tripps, Wilson could join them.

PIF will announce a revenue deal that avoids any FFP nonsense.

Man City Champions. Until it gets struck out of the record books due to ongoing cheating.
Chelsea. 6th until they get a points deduction due to dodgy hotel deals and subsequent breach of FFP.

Reckon that is us in 5th place of all the teams that are not Cheating Blighters.

Loch, we just need some better luck, our luck this season has been as bad as ever I can remember, the draws in all Tournaments , CL, FA and the FL cup were crazy, then add in the mix, Masters and Co do not want us to be successful, then injuries, to come out where we have has been a miracle..
