It’s that time of year when we vore who was Newcatsle’s Player of the Season.
The first thing that comes to mind is many of our players were out injured last season so hopefully, we can improve the medical facilities and procedures so that doesn’t happen again in the coming season.

Comment #281You know what is going to happen with the DA ordeal….the PL will “investigate” and we will be deducted points because Dan did this while working for us. Would not surprise me in the least. But….if it all falls apart for manure then we have turned the corner. 😉

Comment #289Seems like a fair decision.
But Sean Dyce was nominated, comedy gold.
Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna has been named the League Managers Association’s manager of the year.
The 38-year-old, who led Ipswich back to the Premier League after a 22-year absence, beat Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola and Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta to win the award.
Everton manager Sean Dyche, Aston Villa’s Unai Emery and Portsmouth boss John Mousinho were also on the LMA’s shortlist.

Comment #290Didn’t realise it was £7.99 to watch.
Should have flown over and paid the difference to see the game live.

Comment #291Hello everyone, long time no speak. Hope you are all doing well and upbeat for the season ahead.
Hopefully we can add some quality over the summer and replace Ashworth with someone willing to commit to Newcastle and interested in actively helping us to build.
Does anyone have any idea as to why we had SO MANY injuries this season ? Were we doing anything differently or was it monumental bad luck ?
I had heard whispers during the season that we did not Train for a while but 6 WEEKS ? That’s off the wall stuff.

I know under A$$lie our facilities were horrendous but with the Training pitches resurfaced etc. I thought we had put those days behind us.
The Domino effect theory makes sense, but that is still some incredibly bad luck.

Three touches, all poor.
Two bounce off hold up attempts and a pass behind a running free player.
He’s got a massive hill to climb if he is to make it as a Prem player.
A hill too high me thinks.

Comment #312Daily mail- an hour ago
Newcastle are closing in on a deal to sign Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer.
Mail Sport understands the framework of the package is now in place after progress this week and the move should be concluded in London in the coming days.
Barring any last-minute hitches, Adarabioyo will become Newcastle’s first confirmed arrival of the summer window.

Comment #317There should be plenty of Aussie Newcastle fans in Melbourne. Considering the Magpies/Collingwood connection.
Something the club owners are potentially looking at. Collingwood, although an Aussie rules team, have a mass of fans that would automatically transfer over to being Newcastle fans… Should the Premier League take off in Aus.
An extra 20/30,000 overseas fans all adds up.

Just that if Munster has said it’s a done deal it probably isn’t, in fact he’s more likely having a medical in Manchester 😀
