Here’s the video of yesterday’s game when Newcastle drew 1-1 with Tottenham in Melbourne over 90 minutes and then won 5-4 on penalties.
The video includes the penalties being scored predominantly by our youngsters.

An update on my health situation - we have terminated the PluVicto treatment halfway through, because of the severity of the side effects - diarrhea, vomiting, and acid reflux.
And there was no evidence the treatment was having any positive effect in stopping the prostate cancer from spreading in the bones.
There are no treatments left for me to go on.I will go into home hospice care now and will have a hospice nurse visit me at home regularly to ensure I am as comfortable as possible and we will treat the side effects of the treatments I have had.
It's down the final stretch now, and I have run out of treatments, and nature will now take its course.
I hope Newcastle can get many wins this season from now on, and I am at peace with all of this.
Thanks for all your help through the years - it's very much appreciated

Comment #803So, some are predicting great things next season. CL, challenging and all that.
Me, I think right now we are (not about, exactly, check the table) 7th.
Yo change that we need luck, ok, but mainly new faces.
What kind of budget are we working with? And, if that budget is similar to other teams, then it’s still as you were.
Unless we unearth some gems that others haven’t seen or bypassed. The likes of the two (even 3, that big CF is good) Palace lads coming here is kinda low given everyone is after them.
I’m not saying I’m not optimistic about next year but I’ll call it after the window closes.

Comment #805It’s just unbelievable the meltdown that occurs when events don’t go our way. If players want to leave because we’re not playing away games in Asia then sell them. Bring a player in who has real hunger to improve. It’s galling that Manu win another pot after yet another shit season. But this is because as a club they expect trophies and have a history of it. It’s part of their DNA. It’s not part of ours. As city found out it could take 10 years to create this. We just have to keep getting close to finals in every comp, then we’ll get our fair share of finals and wins will come.
We don’t have to win something next season, but we have to go deep in all 3 comps, and avoid a repeat of the injury crisis. There will be no excuses.
We all hope Eddie can deliver but if he can’t and next season is not a forward step then he’ll be replaced.

Comment #806Would it be so much of a surprise if we end up top 4 next season, i don`t think so.
We now have a huge advantage over most of the teams who you would expect to be up there with us next season in the fact we have much more rest time between games than teams playing twice a week in the PL , then Europe.
Its a case of bitter sweet for me seeing Manure win yesterday,, can`t stand the footers, but , i can see us finishing well clear of them next season due to their extra games and disruption, playing catch up on a Sunday isn`t ideal.
I wanted Citeh to win yesterday but iv`e taken some positives out of us missing out on europe as stated above, it`s not the end of the world.
I think Villa will drop off, Manure and Spurs will be trailing in our wake next season, with only Pool, Citeh and Arsenal being as strong, if not stronger than us, not sure about Chelsea.

Comment #810Looks like Plymouth are a knocking bet for relegation next season the the latest news is true.
Wayne Rooney will be their next manager/coach, ffs, when will these club owners start to do their homework on their next employees.
They do realise he is the next Steve Bruce right, in fact i think TFG would take great umbridge with me comparing him to an even bigger knacker

Comment #811Interesting that nick Pope played in Ipswich youth team until he was 16. Maybe there is truth in the rumours..
Or maybe that’s why the rumours started 2+2 =?

Comment #812What is all this tosh and bunkum about rotating goalies. What a load of shite. The vast majority of clubs have a no 1 keeper and younger /unknown second keepers. Goalies do not need to be rotated.
Cannot believe some on here are “pushing” this argument – their knowledge about football is clearly without foundation -they’ve probably previously/recently been fans of ladies mud wrestling/netball.
Get Mamardashvili signed and ship out Pope and Dubs.
On a very serious note the night stalker, Loony Lesh has been up to his mischief in the middle of the night again. He needs detaining under the mental health act and secured in a straight jacket and sent somewhere like the looney hospital at Rampton.
These people do not get the help these days after they closed a lot of local looney hospitals. Care in the community is not really adequate for these people.

Comment #814Lunatic is an old term that was used to refer to a person with a mental illness, or a mental disability. The term goes back to the Latin word lunaticus, which means ‘ of the moon’, or moonstruck.
Coming out in the middle of the night !!!! I rest my case M’lud.
