Howe Makes One Forced Change – Our Predicted NUFC Eleven At Bournemouth

Eddie Howe pulled no surprises with his team selection against Southampton one week ago. He fielded an eleven that the general consensus sensed he would. However, a ridiculous moment in the 1-0 victory over The Saints leaves Howe short at the back.

Fabian Schar is not available after a straight red for his phantom head butt of Ben Brereton Diaz. The Chilean international should be ashamed of himself for his histrionics, which only served to fire up the crowd and the Magpies.

Without the Swiss for Sunday’s clash at The Cherries, Howe will be forced to alter his backline against his former club. While there are options, I suspect he’ll produce a straight swap with Emil Krafth in for Schar.

This is the lineup I predict for Sunday with just the one change. It could be another big chance for Emil, who has often risen to the occasion under Eddie Howe.

Just for clarity and in case of any misunderstanding, my comment about Mitchell was tongue in cheek. 😉

Hope the lad recovers well and that the heid get the promotion they deserve.

The Gateshead legend Greg Olley suffered a broken leg, dislocated ankle and severe ligament damage in last weekend’s win at Woking.
Rob Elliot has revealed Sunderland and Newcastle United have offered to support Gateshead captain Greg Olley as he recovers from a serious injury that has brought a premature end to his season.”

Bloody hell the Gateshead lad must have been hit with a sledgehammer!

Getting Bournemouth this early in the season could be fortuitous. It seems like the side have played Bournemouth at exactly the wrong time in the last few seasons.

A good flogging is due to finally put this Bournemouth hoodoo to bed.

Heatmaps from their last game shows Bournemouth pushing down their left flank. Great test for Livramento to cement his place in the first team.

Happy with Kelly in at LB. Hope he puts in a performance at his old ground. Would like to see Hall off the bench for some marauding runs up the wing and energy injection later on…

I’m not confident at all that we’re going to play well. I hope we do but last week at 11 v 11 worried me. Cross fingers and hope we are better this week but I’m not sure I believe in the it’s early door rhetoric, look at our first game last season as evidence of that.

Bit weak down that right hand side.

Shud have been Schar, Tino, Tonali, and a new RW.

No team with Krafth, Tino, Sean and Murphy are consistently going to play well enough to get a top four spot in this league.

Thats the reality of it. Hopefully Eddie can coach us to a result. Think its gunna be a tough afternoon, Bournemouth have an impressive press, our passing thru the lines could prove a downfall. Need some players back or new ones in.

Anyways fingers crossed lads are properly at it.
