Kelly, Krafth, and Murphy Start At Bournemouth

Here is the team Eddie Howe will field for today’s match at Bournemouth. It has two changes from the 1-0 victory over Southampton last weekend with Emil Krafth and Lloyd Kelly in for Fabian Schar and Lewis Hall.

It’s a full debut for Kelly which creates some intrigue about the backline. Will Krafth play at right-back and Tino Livramento on the left? Or is Kelly a straight swap for Hall?

The bench is a strong one with plenty of options for Howe. There is a bit of a surprise that John Ruddy gets the call ahead of Martin Dubravka and Odysseas Vlachodimos.

This is the eleven Andoni Iraola has named for the hosts.

A win and Newcastle will join a trio of clubs to start the campaign with all six points. That would provide some confidence ahead of a momentous week with the Carabao Cup match at Nottingham Forest and Spurs on the horizon.

Howay The Lads!

To get Top 3 the max number of games a team can loose in a season is probably 4.

To loose one now is not helpful.

Eddie needs to fire some rockets at half time.
This feels like a Bruce era game at the moment.
Sunday away, Bournemouth, no dominance, too casual.
Is our squad not up to it, or players off the boil.
Gordon out of position doesn’t help.
Kraft was lost for their goal

I’d get Willox on for a start

Terrible. Only Bruno and isak have shown up. Longstaff as usual is a waste of space. Gordon’s been reading his press clippings. Just overall a bad performance so far

Honestly if Gordon wants to go to Liverpool this bad then fk off. He’s been a shadow of himself so far the past 2 games jogging around, clearly not arsed you can see it from 10 miles away.
