Barnes, Trippier, and Willock Start At Fulham

Newcastle are in the top four as they head south to take on Fulham at Craven Cottage today. The Magpies have grafted for their impressive points haul but yet to put in an overly convincing display.

Hopefully, that changes with this side Eddie Howe has named. It features four changes from the 2-1 win against Wolves last weekend with Kieran Trippier, Lloyd Kelly, Joe Willock, and Harvey Barnes getting the nods.

This is the team Marco Silva has selected for the hosts.

Newcastle have another golden opportunity to pick up points away. Their luck could run out if the levels don’t rise against The Cottagers. The hope is these changes from Howe spark a convincing victory at Craven Cottage.

Howay The Lads!

Batten down the hatches! they are almost here, verbal diarrhea & extreme flapping almost upon us

IMO we will eventually lose some of the luck today, hard game, they always are in the london and Fulham are decent so far this season, reckon it will be a very tough draw

Afternoon All, sitting anticipa-toon (sorry) for the game on my travels. Shame Tonali not starting but I trust Eddie, we have some serious pace with Willock, Flash, Barnes, Isak which is what I really want. As Sir Bobby said “pace kills”. On another note, I’d love it if one journalist asked Pep how often he speaks to his sporting director just to shut up the media on the topic. He’s usually very complimentary of us.

I think Hall will be a fantastic addition to the squad and will get better. He can be a great sub when we need to attack, But I CANNOT ever see him becoming our permanent 1st choice LWB. He just doesn’t have the speed or awareness to make it there. He gets badly caught out every single match at least once.

I love love love that Plain white hoodie we are using on away days. It’s so clean and classy.

But €120 is far too much for a hoodie.

Hmm both white tino and jelly belly use word spineless and post aggressive posts.
We know jelly belly is a racis* and couldn’t accept the legendary black Asprilla so uses the name white tino. Interesting….

Loch I think that intensity has been proven to cripple us more with injuries than playing like this does with results unfortunately.

If you aim for top 4 you don’t lose at Fulham.

This may not end well unless the team put this right.

Haha I said when bruno and joelinton dyed their hair blond we were in trouble. Samba clowns. Also eddie needs to take blame.
Why move joelinton to right to accomodate willock when joelintons position is left side ffs.

Dont worry though folks happy clappers say eddie will get us top 4 this season and a cup win yaaaay

You have to own midfield to influence game outcomes.
    Something’s not right.

Guehi wouldn’t have made any difference.

    City next week with Haarland.
