Barnes, Trippier, and Willock Start At Fulham

Newcastle are in the top four as they head south to take on Fulham at Craven Cottage today. The Magpies have grafted for their impressive points haul but yet to put in an overly convincing display.

Hopefully, that changes with this side Eddie Howe has named. It features four changes from the 2-1 win against Wolves last weekend with Kieran Trippier, Lloyd Kelly, Joe Willock, and Harvey Barnes getting the nods.

This is the team Marco Silva has selected for the hosts.

Newcastle have another golden opportunity to pick up points away. Their luck could run out if the levels don’t rise against The Cottagers. The hope is these changes from Howe spark a convincing victory at Craven Cottage.

Howay The Lads!

Why did we sign orsula if he doesn’t even get a minute. Bad PSR decision

    Maybe a future bench warmer
If you’re going to be good you are getting proper game time at 21

This game is getting really stretched now, there has to be another goal either way. Anderson has been supreme at the back for Fulham today.

It shows a lack of loyalty and independent thinking

4 points from the next 5 games if we’re lucky. Will have us sitting around 10th by then, which un-coincidentally is exactly where our performances would probably have us.

Joking, actually. Decent second half, we were much the better team, we could’ve easily tied it with an incredible chance and then who knows.

I guess that mistake just about sums up our day, just a really bad day at the office, it would be just so Newcastle to turn round and beat Man City next week. Fair play to Fulham they were worthy winners today.

Was always going to be difficult game, Fulham has been decent so far this season, showed it in the match and we’re away

Not sure why people think we are just going to steamroll all sides which aren’t top 6 especially when not at home

Another poor uneven performance, this time with no wonder goals to bail us out. Howe has a lot to work on in training. We can’t defend as a team. Leaking goals for fun.
