Hall, Murphy, and Tonali Start Against Man City

The Magpies face a stiff challenge after a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Fulham last weekend. The preeminent champions Manchester City stroll into St. James’ Park looking to solidify themselves as league leaders once again.

Eddie Howe has made some changes for this clash with Sandro Tonali getting his first league start since returning from his suspension. Unfortunately, Alexander Isak’s toe injury will keep him out of this one.

Here is the team Howe has selected with three changes from Craven Cottage.

This is the side Pep Guardiola has named for the Citizens.

Expectations are low for any result today. You never know, the lads may pull something off as this fixtures has not been bereft of drama over the past few seasons.

Howay The Lads!

Davas – think he went for his knee and was nowhere near the ball. Dangerous play.

Would have been ok if he had put Maddison out for a few month. Thing is the ratfaced twat would have rolled around himself and tried to get someone sent off.

Maddison shook his hand. Mad bastard, should have milked it.

    Check

If the intent was there, surely it’s a sending off, same as Martinez (I think) last week. I guess he’s not called Schar.

Leo Shahar seems to be getting rave reviews at right back, wonder if he’s good enuf for squad place next season.

Wouldnt it be sweet to have a worldy kid come thru. Shame is we already have Tino.

What is this chat about Bruno — which Bruno. Toon supporters refer to Bruno Guimaraes as BRUNO – no problem there.

Ya Manchester United fans refer to their Bruno – Bruno Fernandes (him with the gob full of teeth) as Bruno.

A Toon supporter would not refer to the Man U one as Bruno. But ya fake Toon supporter would.

Not checked the news lately – any more corruption by ya socialists today – free clothes, match tickets, hotel stays etc etc?

We should win comfortably tonight, although Eddie will send the team out in the right frame of mind to not be complacent, and not to underectimate the opposition, my prediction 3-0 to the Toon.
