Newcastle are back in action after the October international break. The competition is stiff as Newcastle enter what could be a revealing stretch of matches. Today Brighton come to St. James Park in a battle between the sixth and seventh placed clubs.
This is who Eddie Howe has named for today’s match. It has two changes from the draw at Everton with Alexander Isak back leading the line.

This is a massive fixture despite it still being early. Newcastle have played better of late but to Howe’s admission, have not yet reached top gear. That may need to happen today to get all three points against a very talented Brighton side.

Comment #1361Bills we might as well ask, what should the reaction be if we lose out next 3?
Or if we draw today and lose in the cup and Arsenal.

Comment #1363If you call being pissed off if we lose 3 games including a cup match as “bed wetting”, that’s up to you, if it makes you feel in some way superior.

Keegans team were bullies who smashed teams at home and midtable teams and lower away from home.
When they had to go away to the top teams and defend a bit, they folded.
Basically the defence was not good enough. There were no tactics except attack and managers knew what to do.
Great times mind you

He might of waffled but nobody took a blind bit of notice.
There was no budget and you didnāt talk about PSR until it was here so you knew nothing of it so you told nobody anything other than your negative waffle just to get a reaction.

Comment #1368Of course I didnt talk about psr, it didnt exist ! Ffp did though, and you claimed it wasn’t an issue. Just like the rumour of ashworth leaving wasn’t an issue. Anything that isn’t a happy story is a non issue to you. No budget biggest or second biggest investment fund in the world? That’ll be the Daewoo

Comment #1371āI know the answer to this, I kind of know the answer to this. There is no budget. Certain people have put a number on it, and of course Financial Fair Play is going to be a factor, but there is no budget, I donāt think theyāre putting any number on it at the moment, so theyāre just going to see what happens if the right player becomes available. What they wonāt do is overspend one people,ā Graves said.

Itās the changes to the rules since the takeover thats halted our progression. An anti-competitive league thatās full of corruption. If we didnāt have those changes weād of spent a fortune by now so yes in the beginning it wasnāt an issue until the rules were changed.
All you have is lies to go off. What a life and a sad way to try to win an argument,
Never once said Ashworth wasnāt going anywhere. You love talking about the rat donāt you, takes one to know one I suppose.

Comment #1376Mund you told me specifically ” don’t believe anything that isn’t from the club” a month or less before Ashworth news broke. You may think you didn’t, or else you’re having me on. It’s classic Mund, don’t say anything unless it’s positive. Otherwise you’re not a proper fan eh?

Comment #1379No I never⦠you get confused a lot.
I said never believe anything from the media.
Which is solid advice considering 99% of its BS. You have used that to say I said Ashworth wasnāt going anywhere which I never but thatās what you do twist the truth to suit your narrative.
This only positive line is tiresome as well as Iām quite critical when needs be but what I donāt do is wet my pants when something isnāt going right.
All youāve ever done is twist the truth which Iāll never understand but I guess when youāve got no argument thatās what you gotta do

So Ledge I’d put my football savvyness at a reasonable level, yes, and like you, have had to run games, fk knows how many, make tactical switches, make changes in shape etc.
Two FAI courses done. I think thst puts me in good nick overall in terms of savvy.
