Newcastle will hope to keep momentum ahead of the international break with a result at Nottingham Forest today. A win would see the Magpies climb into the top half of the table before the break.
However, it will not be easy as Forest and local lad Elliot Anderson have had a blistering start to the campaign currently occupying the third slot in the table. A continuation of recent displays is desperately needed.
Here is the eleven Eddie Howe has selected for today’s clash which is unchanged from 1-0 win over Arsenal last weekend

This is another pivotal fixture to reshape the early stages of this season. The lads will have to be focused and disciplined today. Hopefully, they can solve their problems in front of the net with at least a couple of goals.
Howay The Lads!

Comment #41Oh they did check it, they just think checking where a player is and leading with your elbow into their face is fine.
Ok then.

Comment #47He didn’t lead with his elbow he led with his arm. Still a fowl but it wasn’t an elbow so it wouldn’t meet the threshold of a red card ergo a var intervention.
It 100% wasn’t a red and I don’t think var intervene in yellows, could be wrong though.

Comment #55Silly foul to give away and then poor defending, too easy with just a tiny bit of movement from Murillo.
