Dubravka, Gordon, And Tonali Start Against Leicester

Newcastle return to St. James’ Park today in desperate need of a win after picking up just two points over the last four matches. The Magpies take on a Leicester City side that have beaten West Ham and drew against Brighton in their previous two matches, albeit at home.

This is the team Eddie Howe has named today. It has three changes from the disappointing defeat at Brentford last weekend with Martin Dubravka in for injured Nick Pope.

Here is who recently appointed Ruud van Nistlerooy has selected for the Foxes.

Anything but a win today would further complicate matters on Tyneside. The project has stagnated for the moment but Newcastle remain just six points from a European place.

Howay The Lads!

That Murphy goal was a complete repeat of the miss (save) from 6 or so minute earlier. I thought I was watching a repeat

WOW we`re purring like a bobcat now, surly we will score at least 5 today,

Christmas really has arrived early, brilliant to see Eddie is in a position to ring the changes early in this half.

Osula looks a little bit like a headless chicken out there. Our cohesion up top seems to have gone with Isak.

The cherry on the cake would be our young striker putting one in the back of the onion bag.

IrishRob, Osula has had no service since he game on nor have we really tried to do anything other than keep the ball. There have been no crosses into the box, for example, since he came on.

Eddie wincing when he sees Willock tackled. Not a great sign. Probably hints that he himself knows he’s made of glass

Pottsclock dont know what you’re watching he had loads of the ball. He just ran around aimlessly.

It was very clear to me within 5 mins of isak going off that we lost our threat up forward.
