Newcastle Travel to Manchester United Hoping to Keep Streak Going

Newcastle are on a run of four straight wins as they head to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United. The Red Devils have struggled this term sitting in the bottom half of the table. Even a managerial swap to Ruben Amorim has failed to pay dividends thus far.

Eddie Howe will hope to have at least one of Kieran Trippier or Tino Livramento available. Trippier came off in the win over Aston Villa, though it may have been fatigue related. Tino missed the match through illness. With Emil Krafth out, having a natural right-back available will be key.

Other than right-back, Howe is expected to field an unchanged team. The lads have been simply sensational over the previous four fixtures. Hopefully that continues to close out 2024 on a high note.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to catch the match today due to my job. This post can stand in for the matchday one.

Howay The Lads!

I think we all know what’s going to happen tonight, but I DONT NOT want to see overconfidence even ONCE on here this evening!

If you have nothing negative to say then piss off and don’t say anything at all….

That norovirus the vomitting and diarrhoea bug has been making a comeback – might be that. Apparently lasts 2 days and then you are back to normal.

8 days it lasted for me. Today is the first day I’ve felt ok-ish. Completely and utterly wiped me out. Never been so bad.

Hopefully Tino wasn’t as bad and is back and ready for action.

Magscar, with reference to what we said the other day , how players used to end their barren goalscoring spell against us. I m a little bit wary about Rashford being involved

Mund – apparently it is highly contagious. So if it was that it is surprising nobody else got it.

Tuff is almost like something came up where they weren’t in contact with each other to spread it, on the 2 previous days before the match.

Both my side of the family and my wife’s have either had it or going through it now. Dropping like flies.

I’ve been disinfecting the house today as the wife is a few days behind me. Brutal illness.

    Keep safe mate

It was bad enough when covid was on the go – now that was frightening. I’ve got a reduced immune system so our house was like Fort Knox for potential bugs. Every letter through the door was disinfected etc etc.

We should be beating Manure really as they’ve been rubbish.
I also fancied us to beat them at Wembley but look what happened there.
Worried about Rashford coming in if he is playing to be away.
Fair enough I am ultra Negger but I have been through so many bad times following the Toon.
I hope I am wrong and we whoop them bad.

Time to put some old bad habits away.
We’ve shown that we can beat, Arsenal, City, Spurs and held our own against an in form Liverpool.
Let’s get this monkey off our back and get the win.
If we want CL these are the teams to beat.

My wife and I had norovirus….. vomitting and diarrhoea bug a couple of months ago. It was absolutely horrendous. I don’t think I’ve ever spewed up as bad as that ever. Even after foolishly drinking too much Brown Ale when I was a young lad. It was a rush to get to the toilet in time! Thank God I did!!!

In the pre kick off camera work – we’ll be shown a close up of that c u n t Red Nose sitting in the directors box – why why why. The camera will pan around into the crowd showing lots of foreign people or apparently foreign people. I suspect not innate Mancunians.

Enjoy the Stack should be a canny evening there like.

That’s actually a pretty strong looking bench now

Is Targett just dropped or do we think he’s injured again ?

I don’t think Targett gets on the bench in front of any of those subs. Which is exactly why he should be sold. The only difficulty is, I think we would need to give him £4m to cut his wages, for any potential purchase.

From earlier about Rashford maybe having a good game – Man U fans seem to think k he’s there to fill a bare looking squad could get on though

If you get hung up on these things then what’s worse is Simon Hooper is the ref for tonight – his other 2 games he’s done for us this season are 2-1 loss at Chelsea and 4-2 at Brentford ( courtesy of NzuFC.com)

Looking at it positively then this is finally the night when he refs a win for us 🙂
