Newcastle Travel to Manchester United Hoping to Keep Streak Going

Newcastle are on a run of four straight wins as they head to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United. The Red Devils have struggled this term sitting in the bottom half of the table. Even a managerial swap to Ruben Amorim has failed to pay dividends thus far.

Eddie Howe will hope to have at least one of Kieran Trippier or Tino Livramento available. Trippier came off in the win over Aston Villa, though it may have been fatigue related. Tino missed the match through illness. With Emil Krafth out, having a natural right-back available will be key.

Other than right-back, Howe is expected to field an unchanged team. The lads have been simply sensational over the previous four fixtures. Hopefully that continues to close out 2024 on a high note.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to catch the match today due to my job. This post can stand in for the matchday one.

By the way going back to….///

    Anderson & Barnes!

I’m fully aware that sadly as far as Anderson goes we can’t reverse that decision!

But….. I feel it would be a very backward step to let Barnes go – he’s too valuable to our team.

Botman starts. Didn’t see that coming in a million years. I hope he’s not being rushed back.

Jail a bunch of guys over here knew about Fitgerald signing a few months ago. I wasn’t one of them. It had been said apparently too, old news. I just hadn’t spotted it or heard it.

Only worry would be the balance at CB. If we overcome that we should be fine

It was clear as day Botman wud start. Said it over here. Eddie was clearly bluffing the question at the presser. It was all in the face.

Eddie never plays the lads to soon, we all know that he eases players in right?

Botman has been running on grass for a while now and has clearly shown Eddie he is ready. Huge lift for the lads to have him back in defence.

No Maddison or Son… Wow huge seismic shift in our favour that. Eddie will ensure our boys don’t get complacent and stick to the plan.

Wow no Maddison or Son either, jeez they really are badly depleted today mate, but we still need to be ultra professional and go out with the right attitude, and not underestimate them in anyway.

Just messaged my mate who’s a spurs fan asking if he’s nervous.
He replied “not remotely, fully expect us to beat them and then they’ll get rid of the Aussie P. E teacher and get a proper PL Manager”.
