The Magpies are absolutely flying having won nine on the trot in all competitions. It’s Bournemouth at St. James’ Park on the docket in the early match today. The question is can Eddie Howe finally defeat his old club for Newcastle’s tenth straight win.
The Cherries have been exceptional this term under Andoni Iraola. They sit 8th in the table and defeated Newcastle earlier in the campaign. Hopefully, a raucous home crowd can push the lads to keep the winning streak alive.
Unsurprisingly, Howe has named an unchanged side today.

Comment #2Good observation bill, you’d imagine they’d be here long before now if they had stayed the night.
But they never drove up this morning hardly that would have meant they would all had to meet up at 4:30 in the morning.
Maybe the flew up this morning.

Comment #10Newcastle XI: Dubravka, Livramento, Botman, Burn, Hall, Guimaraes, Tonali, Joelinton, Murphy, Isak, Gordon
Subs: Vlachodimos, Trippier, Schar, Osula, Almiron, Kelly, Willock, Longstaff, Miley
Good bench, particularly over the opposition, should win

Comment #12This a tough test today lads, on past games you would say it’ll be a draw but both team’s are inform and the bookies aren’t giving much away if we can grab a quick goal I think we will win this one today.
I’m going 3..0 or 3..1 enjoy the game lads and lasses.

Comment #17Not an easy task against these, Bournemouth have been playing some good stuff.
Still think we will have a bit too much for them though and we have a very strong bench to call on second half.
2-1 toon

Comment #19some pundit was making up a combined NUFC/LPool team and the only of their players he reckoned that would get into the front six would be Salah and Mcallister. Not sure about Mcallister myself!
