Newcastle Unchanged Against Bournemouth At St. James’ Park

The Magpies are absolutely flying having won nine on the trot in all competitions. It’s Bournemouth at St. James’ Park on the docket in the early match today. The question is can Eddie Howe finally defeat his old club for Newcastle’s tenth straight win.

The Cherries have been exceptional this term under Andoni Iraola. They sit 8th in the table and defeated Newcastle earlier in the campaign. Hopefully, a raucous home crowd can push the lads to keep the winning streak alive.

Unsurprisingly, Howe has named an unchanged side today.

Here is who Andoni has selected for the visitors.

Howay The Lads!

Bruno doesn’t learn he’s still trying too much.

    @Munster

I think Botmans top speeds are really fast but it takes him a bit to get to that

Doesn’t really help against teams like this where there players are rapid from a standing start

Shocking. Iraola doing what Eddie cudnt do last season.

For Jail, that’s why I suggested this is our manager to go to if Eddie had gone

So many sloppy errors and individual mistakes today.

Fair play to how well Bournemouth are playing, but our quality today has been well below recent weeks which is really disappointing.

Doesn’t matter what plan you have, if your own players keep passing to the opposition you’re in trouble

Botman takes a while to get to top speed, not the fastest bit no slouch and after 300 days out, People thinking he’ll be anywhere near his fastest would demonstrate a serious lack of football knowledge.

Peckham.. There’s a few on here have been dreaming of this day for 9 games now.

Eddie’s made a clear tactical shift at half time as well as early second half subs.

I’d move Joelinton to left wing and let him bully cook and Gordon either to the right or 2nd striker

    We need something different

It would be nice to see 4 or 5 completed passes in a row. Never seen us give the ball away so much, even on passes going back
