Burn, Dubravka, And Schar Start Against Southampton

Newcastle are hoping to bounce back after getting trounced 4-1 by Bournemouth at St. James’ Park. Last weekend may have been one match too many after a brutal winter schedule.

A full week of preparation will hopefully be the needed ingredient to bounce straight back with a victory. The Saints are likely heading back to the Championship with just six points amassed and a lengthy losing streak.

This is the team Eddie Howe has named for today’s clash. It has one change with Fabian Schar in for Sven Botman from last weekend. Nick Pope returns to the squad with Martin Dubravka deservedly keeping his place.

Here is who Ivan Juric has selected for the hosts.

Howay The Lads!

Iraola won a super cup with some team but hows he my darling. I didnt have a clue who he was until last week.

My recomendations were mourinho, simone inzaghi, gasperini, simeone.

Now how many trophies have they won 😀

Lucky for you the Storm wasn`t to bed in your county mate, as you could see it was horrendous in most parts of Ireland Rob, i was lucky as no structural damage to the house, but other members in the family were not so lucky Rob.

When we get backs who can actually defend and not helped out by a whole team performance we will be unstoppable.

Southampton battled hard, had to match that, then our class told in the end.
Got the 3 pts, our third goal (Tonali) was stunning, and Isak breaking the consecutive away goals record (?) for us, a very nice added bonus.
    Onto Fulham at home…

Arsenal snatch a win out of a draw.
Pity, closing 2points différence we would have been good.

FA will have to charge them for 7 players surround the ref

    @Poet

I don’t post while the match is being played as im too busy watching the game, you should try it

Iraola hasn’t won the super cup you dafty, not that you would know as you just admitted you didn’t even know who he was lol, some football fan you are

My point seems to have went over your head a little, Iraola is obviously a very good manager yet he hasn’t won anything, it’s really not that hard to understand

Your ‘recommendations’ lol, nobody at the club asked you for them! ha. Not suprised you mention Mourinho, he actually will likely play your revolutionary plan b Hoofball (with burn up top) tactics you so desire lol, come on man his day is gone. As for the Simeone and the italians, be realistic, they would expect one of the top 6 clubs you silly billy

Conversing with you is like talking to the local drunk, it’s really dumbing me down, why am i doing it?

It seems Wolves self destructed a bit. With Arsenal down to 10 men, Wolves had their own player sent off to even it up and Arsenal scored a few minutes later.
