Miley, Osula, And Wilson Start At Birmingham City

After reaching the League Cup final, Newcastle will try to advance in the FA Cup as they take on Birmingham City at St. Andrew’s this afternoon. The recently relegated Blues are on a strong run topping League One in a bid to get straight back to the Championship.

This is who Eddie Howe has selected for today’s match.

Here is who Chris Davies’ will send out for the hosts. Former Mag Grant Hanley is on the bench.

But when it’s a win for the Toon
I’m be – well over the Moon

Sometimes I’m happy and sometimes I’m sad
But… when Toon win I’m happy and glad.
If we win at Wembley that’ll make a real fine tune

    Nightmare!!

In pot 3 today, got through to buy tickets, comes up ‘no event found’ when it should give me a choice of seats.

Says I should log in… but I’m logged in.

    Tried 4/5 times no change.

    Anyone had the same issue?

Yes our lad, exactly the same.
Ring box office (not too busy) on 0344 3721893

They can access your account , check and advise.

Some older accounts email address and supporter numbers don’t match, might need update

    Piss take on tickets.
Our lad got one in Pot 3
If any left I’m on Pot 4 ballot only because I missed a match due to bout of covid. Did they want to go and spread the lurgy ?
Ticket was transfered to family member – mistake. Should have just flouted the system like others.

Bought 2 x Carabo Cup batches on back of 30 years as ST holder on basis same deal for final tickets as previously. Rules changed after the event.

Loyalty seems to count for nothing.

Very stressful but I’ve managed to get 4 seats together but quite high up in area 549 but you get quite a decent view at Wembley.
@Billson make sure you are logged in when in the ticket section i.e. book.newcastle.com section as this is a separate login to the general sight for watching nufctv etc.
I’ve just been back on the sight there is now no queue and quite a few tickets left in some areas so don’t panic.

When I booked yesterday afternoon there was still thousands of tickets left.
Logging in was ok but filling in card details was tricky – had to put my number in a few times until the box came up green

If you value a relatively trouble free life, I’m sure you’ve answered your question and’ll watch the final at home or wherever you can visit and pass on the good news to your ma.

    You know it makes sense

Nightmare over… but the ticket system is a farce.

I have two ST’s and the email for Pot 3 came to the ticket allocated to Pot 5 – so when I booked in after my time in the queue I got the ‘No event’ after clicking buy tickets – because the system decided I was in Pot 5?!

I had to go to the Box Office to sort it – total time spent 3.5 hours and a 50 mile round trip.

Plus, I missed out on upper tier tickets which are now sold out.

On being downgraded in pots because of transferring tickets…

I’ve been a season ticket holder for 51 years and had my second ST for 31 years – and just because I missed one cup game and my wife two we go into Pots 3 & 5 and can’t get seats together.

    I’m seething at that.

Like martoon and others from now on I’ll be blagging any ticket transfers on a second phone but it still leaves a sour taste.

I know I won’t be the only one feeling peed off at ticket allocation but surely 51 years & 31 years as an ST holder – through thin & thin years as supporters – deserves some type of loyalty scheme when it comes to cup final tickets.

Glad you got it sorted but there has to be a better way worked out
If we get to the semi final of the fa cup then could be a bigger mess as our allocation will be mid twenty thousands

At the Box Office a guy was going apesh1t because he could only buy one of his family’s three tickets in Pot 3 today.

    Reason?

They were all in his name.

Even though the system accepts that when it comes to paying for his three ST’s – it doesn’t accept it for Cup FInal tickets – each ticket has to be in a different name!!

The BO lass said it’s in the rules – well it’s a fkn stupid rule. Each ST has a different number so its not as if you can blag three tickets off one ST.

The lad got his three tickets – but the other two aren’t with his. So, like me, on one the biggest potential days in the club’s history – winning a cup – he doesn’t get to sit with his family.

    Utter bollox.

Strange because I got my ticket and my sons together yet I buy all the tickets on my card and correspondence is with me.
Most likely I am able to choose is because we both have supporters numbers.
When I asked for two – both boxes came up with my name – would only give me one ticket but then I changed the other box to my sons name both boxes became active

So the gossip on the grapevine here is that Leazes is the winner. Full build with no need to play elsewhere whilst it is being built, with Brad Miller having had important meetings yesterday. Believe what u will. And the centre back we want most in based in south America. Hmm.
