Howe Names Unchanged Side At Brighton

As it stands, Newcastle are fourth in league table holding onto a Champions League place by just 2 points over Forest and Villa. Today’s match at Brighton could have massive implications by season’s end.

Newcastle must at least gain a point to ensure their continued place in the top five with Forest and Chelsea still to play. A victory could be monumental and thrust the Magpies back to third and a five point cushion over Villa.

As expected, Eddie Howe has named an unchanged team from the win over Ipswich.

Here is who Seagulls boss Fabian Hurzeler has selected for the visitors.

Howay The Lads!

I think Howe likes tall players, has to be over 178cm (Tripper being the exception to this rule)

Therefore any player signed will be this height or taller.

I think any centre back signing will be as tall as our current centre backs, so I don’t think we will sign Guehi.

CB’s like Diomande, Bisseck, Huijsen, Tomori, Thiaw are more likely signings in my opinion.

Right wing options would be played like Elanga, Dibling, Bakayoko, Madueke or Akliouche.

Also our signings tend to be English too.

Therefore I think our most likely signings are:

    GK – Trafford
    CB – Huijsen or Bisseck
    RW – Dibling
    ST – Delap

No Mitoma for Brighton, not even on the bench. That’s good

So Brighton are missing both Pedro and Mitoma today!!

that`s a huge bonus for us, and should really negate us missing Joelinton,

i`m feeling a lot more confident about our prospects today on learning, that neither Pedro or Mitoma will feature.

Andy Gray: looking at the Villa run in, I think they get 69.

    Keys: I’ll give you 66.

    Cyprus: I’ll give you 65.

This should be a cracking game (without wanting to curse it).

I always worry about Welbeck, but the firepower between Barnes, Isak and Murphy should be too much. Not forgetting Tonali, who likes to pop up and has a stinging shot on him.

Interesting that the bookies have Liverpool at 2/1 against Chelsea.

Cannot see Liverpool rolling over for Chelsea. Surely they will want to keep Chelsea out of the CL if possible.
