Botman, Gordon, And Wilson Start At Arsenal

Newcastle are in the driver’s seat for a place in the Champions League next season. The Magpies sit in third due a superior goal difference over Chelsea and Aston Villa, who both won yesterday. A win today at Arsenal and Newcastle will in all likelihood clinch a top five finish.

The lads have fared quite well against the Gunners over the past few campaigns. Eddie Howe will want to leave nothing to chance on the final day and take all three points at The Emirates this afternoon.

This is the team Howe has named for this pivotal clash as Callum Wilson comes in for the absent Alexander Isak.

Here is the link to Mikel Arteta’s selection for the hosts.

Howay The Lads!

To the utter surprise of no one, there are no winners in the bingo.

    West Ham disgraceful, woeful passing.
Ref failed to give red card for hand in face by Forest player.

It’s going to take a huge effort to get anything today. Our record without Isak is 0-3.

Murphy up against Martinelli should be a good contest.

It already looks like Arsenal are giving Gordon plenty of space to operate in. That’ll come back to bite.

Jeez we could already be 2 up, playing fairly well so far to be fair, but we need to be ruthless and stick a few in the onion bag when we get the opportunity.

Playing really really well here, this Arsenal defence looks shaky. Mentioned earlier I’m not sure how much they’ve played together. They look like they haven’t much as we look dangerous every time we go forward.
