Newcastle play Manchester City for the fifth time this season in the fifth round of the FA Cup at St James'Park at 8pm on Saturday 7th March.

Match Preview
In the previous four matches the Toon have only recorded one win, that was in the home PL game where we defeated City 2-1.
We lost the away PL game and both legs of the Carabou Cup semi-final.
However, we go into the match on the back of ending a three-match losing streak at home in the Premier League when the Lads played magnificently in beating an in form Manchester United 2-1, despite playing the second half with just ten men.
That has put Eddie, the squad and fans in a totally different mood to the doom and gloom that engulfed the club after the 3-2 home defeat by Everton.
We are all still buzzing after Wednesday's performance and result and you can bet the atmosphere at SJP will be bouncing from the kick off on Saturday evening.
Man City though will be a far tougher task than their neighbours.
If they win, they will become just the third team to eliminate Newcastle from both the EFL Cup and FA Cup in the same season, since Wimbledon in 1987-88 and Arsenal in 2007-08.
However, surprisingly, the Toon have progressed from 9 of their last 10 FA Cup fifth-round ties, with two of those triumphs coming against the Citizens in 1994-95 and 2001-02.
City also go into the game having dropped two points in the title race after being held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest with Elliot Anderson getting the equaliser.
Team News
Newcastle: The game comes too early for Tino and Lewis Miley but Nick Woltemade is available after his sickness bug. Jacob Ramsey is suspended.
Man City: Josko Gvardiol Mateo Kovacic are out, while Nico O'Reilly is a minor doubt.
Match Prediction
Flushed with dosh from my 2-1 winnings against Man U, the bookies will be laying off whatever bet I place on this game.
I must admit against Man U my head said that we would lose, but my heart is always beating for a Toon win. My 2-1 prediction wasn't made with huge confidence.
For this game, I am in two minds.
Let's be honest; for all the magnificent effort and performance the Lads put in on Wednesday night - Man U didn't pose anywhere near the threat we expected.
City won't put in that type of no show.
So, as always, this will be a long hard battle for possession where we have to go toe to toe for 90 minutes+ and take any chances we get.
Eddie has no option but to play his strongest team available and whoever Pep selects it will be a team of top players.
I'm expecting the game to be a full blooded FA Cup tie where both sides go all out for the win in normal time - neither side wants this match to go to extra time.
That's why usual fiver is going on another 2-1 win.
The bookies will be quaking in their boots...
And let's hope City are too when they get hit with a wall of Geordie noise when they take the pitch tomorrow.

@JfA the atmosphere was great until they equalised. Then after that I think there was a shocked silence at how much we were being dominated.
I still don't understand the point of risking Gordon when the game was gone especially as we now learn he has a dodgy ankle?
Newcastle United v Manchester City review
My take on last nights game. We started well enough and looked well up for it , but we were slowly starting to fade even before city scored . We didnt just concede a poor goal , i think we lost a bit of heart after that too. They started to control the posession and dictate the tempo and we just didnt have the midfield to cope with it. 2nd half they scored early doors and effectively ended it as a contest. We couldnt get the ball , and they were very efficient in keeping it . Tonali understandably looked knackered. Willock put plenty of effort in and did his best but couldnt do what he does best in ru…

Do we have to put up with 'Eddie isn't the right man to..... " every time we fookin lose man, it's tiresome, if people are consistent with it and say it after a win then fair enough. Nobody feels good after a loss but to see people whining about the team and manager after every time we get a negative result just makes a defeat feel worse.
I thought the atmosphere was a bit flat in there, but i also thought that against Villa on the opening day season before last in the same seat and apparently the place was bouncing that evening, anyone else at the game got a fairer reflection on the atmosphere?
