Hi, I'm Colin  Parker the new owner of NUFCBlog.com

Some of you may know me as Bills Son from my 15 years as a poster on the late Ed Harrison's renowned NUFC Blog the original NUFC blog which he ran for 17 years.

​

My reason and motivation for taking over the blog is all down to Ed Harrison.

 

When his son Neil made the difficult decision to close the blog in September 2025, for myself, and for many members of Ed's blog, it was like losing part of our daily lives, and the end of being an active part of a community of like minded NUFC fans.

​

I wanted to keep that community alive.

The Aims of the NUFC Blog

​

I have two main aims for supporters of Newcastle United:

​

One: To keep the memory and legend of Ed Harrison’s NUFC Blog alive with the blog on the site being dedicated in his name.

​

I know many of you are Newcastle United fans and former members or ‘lurkers’ on Ed’s blog and keeping the community together that he built up over the years is one that I. and I’m sure many of you,  will share.

​

I have tried to keep the format of the blog on the site as close as possible to Ed’s so that you can ‘feel at home’ and feel his presence.

​

Two: To develop a blog that is the ‘go to place’ for all things Newcastle United..

​

Like me, I am sure you are interested in Newcastle United transfer rumours, the A-Z on new signings, Eddie Howe's pressers, match highlights and reports, player interviews etc., in short, all and everything that is happening at Newcastle United.
