Changes To Match Preview & Post Formats

As part of the continued development of the blog I need to make changes to the format of posts to take advantage of the changes in Google search, SEO and the increasing influence of the likes of AI, ChatGPT and Gemini in website marketing and exposure.

The first example of this format change is in the Burnley match preview.

The main change you will find is that my opinions on the game - or any NUFC issue I post on - will generally be at the end of the post and it may be that you will get into the habit of skipping the first few paragraphs that are mostly intended for Google, AI and ChatGPT etc.

Why are these format changes important?

There are literally 1000's of searches every day online for news etc., on NUFC. This blog needs to be at the forefront of those searches in order to increase readership and membership. We need to maintain and increase our search exposure.

The way in which Google and AI are prioritising which sites show for those searches is undergoing massive changes, changes that will accelerate and go into overdrive in 2026.

It may take me a few weeks to tune posts into a format that is both suitable for the changes needed whilst still being as 'user readable' as previously.

Please bear with me as these changes will be to the benefit of all who want to see this blog grow and succeed.
