Newcastle United have a staggering nine games coming up this month and a chance to give us fans a fantastic start to 2026.
2025 was a truly historic year that brought the first domestic trophy to SJP in 70 years when we beat Liverpool in that glorious never to be forgotten Carabou Cup Final at Wembley.
And, despite a tough time in the League this season it's still all to play for...
By the end of January we could be in the next round of the FA Cup, into the knock out round of the Champions League, have one foot in the Carabou Cup Final and be in a far healthier position in the Premier League.
Plus... there could be new players through the door with the transfer window now open.
It's a massive month for Eddie Howe, the squad and all Toon fans - let's hope the Lads produce the fireworks that keep the New Year celebrations going right up to the end of January.

The league still be relatively tight (4 points off 5th) is both very lucky for us, but also really frustrating. As if we could play consistently or hold onto leads better, we could be sitting pretty in that top 5 or top 4 already and have confidence oozing.
Chelsea game, couldn't keep a 2 goal lead. 2 points dropped.
Tottenham, late goal and couldn't hold the lead. 2 points dropped.
Arsenal, 2 late goals. Couldn't even hold onto the draw. 2 or 3 points dropped depending how you look at it.
I know we had 10 men, but late Liverpool goal too. 1 point dropped.
Not too unrealistic to think we could be 7 or 8 points better off now,…
