Members Area & Blog Posting Rules

You can read articles and comments without signing up as a forum member.

If you wish to post comments on article pages you must first sign up as a member...

• Click the black Sign In link in the site header.

• Enter your email address and password to go to the Members Area.

• Enter the name you want displayed on any comments you make. If you are a previous member of Ed Harrison's blog I suggest you use that name so that other previous members and readers recognise you. In any event, to protect your privacy, I recommend you do not use your real name as your posting name.

• Complete the other membership details. Note: Your real name and email will be private, not available to other members and protected by our Privacy Policy and Data Protection License.

• Add a Bio ie., how long you've supported NUFC, favourite matches and players etc. Do not include personal details. Bio's give members the chance to see something of the person behind their posting name and avatar. Note: When a member views a BIO all they see is the Bio and posting name. No other Member Account details are displayed.

• Add an avatar image to be displayed with your posts. As yet I don't have an avatar generator but this is in the pipeline and should be available soon.

• Member Area Features: By clicking the headings you will be able to view 1) all comments you post 2) all posts you liked 3) any emails you receive from Admin and 4) your blog activity stats.

Blog Posting Rules

The following policies should be taken into consideration before commenting as I am determined to stamp out bad behavior and trolls:

• All posts on the b;log will be regularly monitored by a team of moderators and any comments falling foul of the rules below will be deleted and reviewed by Admin.

• If a deleted comment is not reinstated the member will receive, in their Notifications, a 'Yellow Card' or, if the comment is seriously out of order, a 'Red Card' After three Yellows or a Red card members may be temporarily or permanently banned. Admin decisions are final and we will not enter into any discussions on those decisions.

  
  

• The Rules...

• Personal comment insults or continually provoking other posters must be avoided, may be deleted, and may receive a Yellow Card (see below for Yellow & Red card rules).

• Comments on politics, religion, or controversial non-related NUFC topics will be deleted and a Yellow Card or Red Card issued..

• Do not post streaming links to pirated matches or links to content on controversial topics or you will be permanently banned.

• Physical threats will lead to a suspension or a permanent ban depending on the severity.

• Revealing personal information about another poster without permission will result in a permanent ban.

• Creating alternate accounts will result in an immediate ban of all accounts

There may be other reasons why a comment may be deleted - you can avoid deletion, potential cards, suspensions or permanent bans by posting only on NUFC related topics and adhering to the above rules. That is for the benefit of all members and readers of the blog.

Note: 'Banter' between posters is OK as long is it is not offensive - if you feel for any reason that the banter is out of hand contact Admin.
