Nico Gonzalez: Jaissle Involved In Negotiations

Gonzalez is a player that would definitely excite Toon fans especially after the spirited performance that Newcastle produced against Liverpool and his signing would be a real show of intent from the club.
Reports are that a club-to-club agreement is now close,
Those reports indicate a fee of around £50million has been agreed while personal terms have already been settled.
The deal is expected to be completed, with both sides keen to see it done.
Matthias Jaissle has apparently played a key role in securing the midfielder’s approval, holding a personal conversation with Gonzalez to finalise the agreement.
This direct approach is understood to have reassured the player about his role at Newcastle and the club’s ambitions under the current regime.
Until the ink is dry on a signed contract we won't get over excited, but let's hope it's the start of a cracking end to the transfer window that will see two or three players stepping over the line into SJP.

We’ve had verbs agreements before and the deal has been sabotaged by one of the slimy cartel. I’ll believe it when he’s had his physical and signed on the dotted line.
Let's hope Liverpool don't decide they need a DM after yesterday and come in for Gonzalez. 😡
