NEWSFEED: Newcastle Board Reportedly Stand Firm Behind Jaissle Despite Three Defeats in Four

Newcastle United's hierarchy reportedly has no immediate plans to dismiss Matthias Jaissle, despite mounting pressure following three defeats in the club's last four Premier League matches.

According to reports, the German manager continues to enjoy the backing of Newcastle's decision-makers, who recognise that the club is going through a period of significant change.

The report suggests that the board is prepared to accept some inconsistency while Jaissle works to establish his approach with a substantially reshaped squad.

No Immediate Plans for a Change

Newcastle's recent performances have raised serious questions among supporters.

Heavy defeats against Leeds United and Coventry City were followed by the disappointing home loss to Aston Villa, leaving the Magpies 11th in the Premier League.

Nevertheless, the latest reporting indicates that the club's hierarchy still considers Jaissle the right man for the job.

The summer departure of several established first-team players, together with the arrival of younger replacements, is understood to be an important factor in the board's thinking.

Results Still Matter

That support does not mean Jaissle can afford an extended run of poor performances.

Newcastle's next fixture is Sunday's trip to Crystal Palace, where the team will be looking for a much-needed improvement.

With expectations high at St James' Park, supporters will want to see clear signs that Jaissle's methods are beginning to work.

The question is whether the club's patience will be rewarded with better results over the coming weeks.

Do you agree with the Newcastle board's reported decision to stand by Jaissle, or should the club be taking a harder look at his performances already?

Like all of the followers of NUFC I’ll be very relieved to see Newcastle gain 3 points tomorrow afternoon. Is this desperate? Not quite but we really need a win and three points in the bag and the sooner the better in my opinion!

Jaissle isnt going anywhere this season id say so long the team isnt involved in a relegation battle plus in total free fall. Its too early yet to say whether we are in free fall or in a relegation battle to speak. I think if we fail to win any of the next 5 then the board may feel they have to make that difficult decision. If the team wins 2 of the next 5 games like palace and fulham as an example and gets a point from everton ,brighton or arsenal etc then the club isnt gonna be realistically in a relegation battle with those sort of results. Its just gonna be more or less as we are t…
