Newcastle's Form Table Makes Uncomfortable Reading Ahead of Everton

Newcastle United sit 13th in the Premier League's six-match form table, having collected seven points from their last six league games.

The Magpies have recorded two wins, one draw and three defeats during that period, scoring eight goals and conceding twelve.

Those figures provide some context for the growing criticism of Newcastle's performances under Matthias Jaissle, despite the club occupying eighth place in the overall league standings.

Monday night's home meeting with Everton offers an opportunity to improve that record and build on last weekend's 2–0 victory at Crystal Palace.
