Eddie Howe has never selected a team to beat Manchester City in the Premier League having lost 16 and drawn 2 of the 18 games under his various management posts.

Can he select a Toon team to break that duck - and will you get it right?

Points to consider; Will Eddie stick with Nick Pope after two mistakes in our last two away games directly led to goals, Dan Burn is suspended after two yellow card against Brentford, Anthony Gordon and Tino Livramento are not certain to be in the squad after injury, Sandro Tonali has been carrying a knock but Eddie thinks he should be OK, and Anthony Elanga left the Swedish squad due to 'personal issues' as yet unexplained as far as I am aware.

With the Toon only 2pts above a relegation place and our last game being the bad performance and 3-1 defeat at Brentford, will Eddie go for his usual 433 or play a 541 to try and contain City and stop Haaland?
