Will Norway Be Kaned Or In H'lalaland?

England take on Norway in Miami at 10pm BST looking to win through to the semi-final of the World Cup. Can the Three Lions put the Vikings to the sword?

France and Spain have already set up the first semi-final - and what a match that could turn out to be - and now it's down to England v Norway and Argentina v Switzerland to battle it out for the penultimate match before the Final.

England and Norway both produced outstanding results in the last round with England battling with 10 men to score a 3-2 win against Mexico and Norway knocking out Brazil with a 'bye bye ' double from Haaland.

The battle of Kane & able Haaland

With 6 and 7 goals to their names, Harry Kane and Erling Haaland will both be looking to add to their tallies and fire their teams to the semi-final.

Haaland could be up against his teammate Marc Guehi and that could work both ways; for Haaland as he'll know of any Guehi weaknesses, and against him if Guehi has wised up Tuchel on the best way to defend against him.

Mind, any plan to stop Haaland might not survive the first attack as this lad is capable of scoring every type of goal - from soaring bullet headers, to stunning 25 yarders, and poaching tap in 25 inchers.

Haaland is also an aggressive beast of a player who can bulldoze his way through six foot plus CB's like a hot knife through butter. If only Woltemade had a touch of that in him.

Can Kane sugar coat (I know, get ya coat) England with the goal or goals that will make it a bitter night for Norway? Their defenders can't fjord to ignore Harry's threat.

Kane has had an undeserved rollercoaster reputation with some England fans but the fact is he keeps doing what he has always done for club and country; scoring goals.

His game doesn't rely on pace which means his goalscoring talents haven't dimmed in his late 20's and early 30's. Harry has been immense for England and I'm betting in Ronway's WC Competition that he is on the scoresheet again tonight.

Another late great night in the pub

After the delayed Mexico KO matchsticks were needed to keep the eyes open for the start of that game, especially after most fans had had a good gargle of the Devil's juice.

But, once the game finally got underway what a great atmosphere it was and it will be the same tonight in bars across the country and in Geordie land.

For a couple of hours at least we can put the SJP comings and goings, rumours and speculation, to the back of our minds and hopefully watch England knock the helmets off the Vikings.
